in another universe, my parents comforted me when I cried as a little girl.
as long as you're here, there is hope. as long as you're here, something can change. something can make you smile. something can give you peace. something can get better. as long as you're here, a better life is not impossible.
Sometimes self-care is very simple: it is about doing the one thing your body needs most: is it eating? sleeping? a shower? watching something funny to laugh? venting? whatever it is, don’t deprive yourself of it.
If you feel bad, try acting opposed to what your brain wants. If you feel depressed and wanna lay in bed for a week, try forcing yourself to get up and go for a walk. Opposite acting helps get your brain out of a dark place and change your feelings when they are intense and we don't know what to do.
why is everything so hard but not actually that hard just i cant do it
true love is when your pets know u dont feel good and they cuddle with u
growing up really is scary, deep down I’m still the same as when I was 16 and with no idea of what to do or how to start. and I’m stuck in my head while life goes on

there is no such thing as being "behind in life" but it's okay to recognise that you missed out on some things whilst you were busy surviving
