I have a question about something in Stargate relating to shipping and SG fandom history for those who were there from the start.
Rewatching season 1 now and I get the impression that the writers and actors were planning to make Sam/Daniel a thing, like that was their long-term goal. For those who were watching it in season 1 as it was airing, was Sam/Daniel the dominant ship during most of S1?
Obviously there were Sam/Jack shippers from ep 1, but was Solitudes the big trigger for Sam/Jack? The one that shifted it to the front? Or was Sam/Jack the dominant ship right from the start?
Also, AERYN SUN needs some love! Some major love. I’d really really really like to see her make it to the Sweet Sixteen! Right now it’s not looking so good. So help her out! I’d also love to see SAMANTHA CARTER make it. She’s doing well but need to keep her going forward. Carter made it to The Final Four in 2014, let’s see her do it again. If they ever somehow do a new episode of Stargate SG-1 I hope it starts with the gang all meeting up, except Daniel's not there and someone's like "Where's Daniel? Isn't he supposed to be at this meeting?" And Sam's calmly says, "Oh, sorry, he's dead right now. I'm not sure if he can make it to the me-" Then Daniel breezes in going, "Hey, sorry I'm late, but I was dead."
This is my own little place for all things Col./Dr. Samantha Carter and Dr. Daniel Jackson. Both characters from the television show Stargate SG-1.
