The reason Cassandra Cain fans are so defensive of the idea of her being the best is because it's absolutely core to her character. It's not just a dumb fanboy power scaling thing, it's that this character literally only makes internal sense in that context. Part of the reason she puts the weight of the world on her shoulders, pushes herself past her limits every single night and rejects any and all attempts to help her is because in her mind she's the only one who can. It has to be her because no one else can do the things she can do.

Moxy Früvous got their break in the early ‘90s writing and recording songs for Canadian public radio, but didn’t release an actual album until July 1993. This issue (Robin #1) was published in October 1993. So! Tim either loves this one nerdy band enough to slap a poster on his wall a month after hearing them for the first time

i’m weirdly proud of Cyborg, like he started out as a side character created for a comic team and now??? he’s in DC intro for their movies???? Not even NIGHTWING has that and he’s like THE character people think of when it comes to teen superheroes branching out on their own, like go him!!! He’s recognizable on his own now!!! I feel like a proud parent

I love it how we as a fandom collectively invented the concept of the "batfamily" when in reality it's just a bunch of messed up kids/teenagers and a few even more messed up irresponsible adults running around with their deeply dysfunctional relationships
