I think it would be hilarious if when Ed and Al joined team Mustang they just assumed Roy and Riza were married and like one day much to their confusion and sadness they find out they're not and the rest of Team Mustang has to be like we don't really get it either

Alphonse: Hey, what's Leiutenant Hawkeye's last name

Falman: What do you mean? It's Hawkeye. Riza Hawkeye.

Later in Resembool they break the sad and shocking news to Winry who actually takes it a lot harder than they do because she ships them soooooo much

ohshc is the funniest found family of all time because it's really a bunch of wealthy teens + one non-wealthy teen running a host club out of their school's music room for the following reasons:

a hopeless romantic who really does want to make the girls who come to the club happy, but is also completely fucking oblivious to his own romantic feelings

a guy who is literally only in it for the money and the networking

a set of twins who are in it for the lolz (and to find someone who appreciates them as individuals)

a former karate champion who's there because he gets free cake

a guy who never talks and is only here to hang out with the karate champion

a girl who's there because of indentured servitude and everyone likes her in a way that makes them queer.

oh and also there's a random girl who does not go to their school but declared herself their manager and lives under the floorboards

and their nextdoor neighbor is an occultist who's allergic to the sun and carries a cat puppet

That silly headcanon about Greedling purring in his sleep, or maybe just outright purring has me thinking about Greed and Ling having this adjustment period to their new body.

Greed being in a smaller body and a new face with possibly a hyperactive metabolism. Ling having to get used to weird inhuman features like sharp teeth, fighting with carbon-fiber coated hands with claws, slit pupils, experiencing entire limbs regenerate when cut off, the ultimate shield, and maybe yes weird stuff here and there. Even if he isn’t in control he may be experiencing all the sensory input of all that.

It would be awkward and surprising, even if Greed doesn’t remember his previous body there may be subconscious things he does recall; but he was still able to maneuver well minutes after taking Ling’s body.

Ling might find it very weird but exciting in his own silly way.

Now of course if you add silly headcanon additions like purring it would really nail that down.
