“Arcane” has permanently altered my brain chemistry.
Another painted portrait of Miraig.
One of my cameo portraits featuring Viktor from “Arcane”.
I really love to include gems and flowers in a symbolic fashion in these.
Foxglove was chosen for Viktor due to its coloring and what it represents: ambition.
Miraig portrait studies.
I’m so proud of this child.
I gave her the gift of humanity this year.
Okay hear me out.
I am for sure, a Viktor Apologist.
But you wanna know what else I am?
…A Sevika Supremacist.
Obligatory angst post because I’m a goddamn masochist. 🙂
This scene was also a breaking point for Miraig, whoopsie.
Vito.
Oh, what to say about Vito.
Vito is a scummy little man from the Undercity who’s quite adept at fixing a variety deals and somehow managing to keep it quiet that he’s the one that benefits the most from every arrangement he orchestrates. Sure, he may have lost a few toes to someone who grew wise, but by Zaun standards that may as well be a badge of honor indicating how slippery this bastard really is.
Those most well-acquainted with him know that his specialty isn’t scheming or intel - it’s his mastery of manipulation. He never quite lies, but carefully weaves clever half-truths that convince nearly everyone that he’s one of the “better” denizens of the Undercity. He’s skillfully lulled most of the people around him into believing that he is no threat to them - simply a means to an end. And that is a mistake on their part.
He’s no master of combat, but Vito does practice concealed carrying. His cane was built to double as a firearm, and underneath the brim of his hat, an array of throwing knives is nestled, waiting to be chosen by his hand.
This man is one of Miraig’s most staunch Undercity associates. A poor decision? Most likely. But if Vito were to give you an honest answer, he would admit he has a soft spot for her, as do his children. Too bad no one will ever know when it is he’s not turning lying into an unparalleled artform. On Miraig’s side, she does have some sort of twisted faith in him, however misplaced that may be. Luckily, even Vito has some measure of standards for himself, having openly admitted once that he may be a bastard, but would have drawn the line at selling out folks like Vander or Benzo to the likes of Silco.
The bar may be in Hell, but at least it exists.
Finally actually starting a real art blog here. Wish me luck.
This is my main Runeterra OC. And I shamelessly ship her with Viktor. No one can stop me. I’m in too deep.
I’m…*invested* in them.
Her name is Miraig. She’s an Ionian-born spirit mage who fled to Piltover as a refugee when she was very young. Obviously, having nothing, her family landed in Zaun instead. She used her magic to become a horticulturalist in the Undercity, but leveraged her creative skills in becoming a Data Visualization Specialist by lending a fetching art nouveau flair to the charts she’d create. Even when this skill curried enough favor topside, she was often treated as a cute novelty and more of a “pet” to those who employed her. Being treated like a person once she landed in the Hextech labs was a refreshing change of pace.
These are her “Arcane” designs. Specifically s1 act 2 & 3 and s2 act 3 epilogue.
Rest assured she has some “League” stuff, even though it’ll probably be reworked alongside Viktor.
I’m gonna miss the old version, not gonna lie. I started headcanoning him as The Shredder, but with extra steps and now he’s being Thanos-snapped.
Oh well. I’ll still be a raging Viktor Apologist so that’s what counts I guess.
Have some “League” Miraig!
The first one is “old” canon now, as she in LoL lore was initially meant to essentially have been an enabler to her partner, Viktor.
And then there’s High Noon Miraig. She’s an ex-coal miner turned magic-wielding undertaker. She joined Viktor in this AU as well, believing that the only peace left to be found in the world was in creating a new end. And so, she developed her magic in a way that allows her to rob her victims of sentience, leaving them in a quiet haze, unaware of their own existence. This is how she deals with the risen dead - and the few who dare cross her. She’s been nicknamed “The Unmaker” because of this magic. She robs souls of the humanity that once defined them.
