We've started work on the bathroom!!! The awesome super carpenter guy hiding his face is John, the husband of my friend Melanie😊 He's already squared up the step for the toilet and closet area (we have wierd plumbing, don't ask 😒) and is fixing the wall to ready it for hanging sheet rock. I have to pick up some mildew killer/sealant spray for the damaged wood and walls and then we'll be able to move forward with mudding, sanding, and eventually painting after that cures for a few days! I'm so relieved that all the problems that weren't tackled by the previous contractor are FINALLY being fixed! My mum got my car stuck in mud up to the rims. And this was AFTER a huge rainstorm AND I had repeatedly told her the yard was flooded and to stay ON the gravel driveway, and NOT to go on the grass.😑 We're waiting on a tow truck to come get it out.
