I'm at my local #wafflehouse again for #coffee and breakfast! I'm meeting the contractor we hired to re-fix our bathroom (and other stuff as time/money allows) at #homedepot soon, but wanted to share some #coffeelove with @wafflehouseofficial this morning😘 and share some #hugs&love with all of you, too!🦊❤ I added some more goodies to make my #bulletjournal more functional for me. I sewed an elastic tie-around to my #bujo to help hold my essential pens and pencil! My weekend was spent in mourning due to the horrifying news that a friend and beloved teacher at my daughter's daycare, and her unborn baby girl, had been killed in a car accident. All my love and support are with the family and friends grieving right now. Adding to that sadness was also the grim realization that this weekend marked the one year anniversary of another beloved friend's death. She was one of my first friends upon moving to the States and she unequivocally accepted and supported me. I will always regret not spending more time with her. These two women made me aspire and be a better version of myself. And they had that effect on everyone they met. Tell your friends and loved ones how much you care about them and appreciate them every day. ❤

Hello! Apologies for the long period of silence! I have been a *bit* busy taking care of the farm, the Tiny Tyrant Terror (aka, Leocadia🙄) and... *drum roll, please* . . . finishing my mum's #quilt!!! I am so proud of this one😍, it fits over a twin size bed, and is soooo pretty! I used cotton fabric, thread, and batting from @joann_stores The batting is an organic cotton, sturdy, easy to lay out, and is thin enough for me to sew on my 8 year old #brothersewingmachine All that's left to do is wash it, iron it out, fold it up, wrap it, and gift it to my mum❤🎂 But keep this between you and me! Mum doesn't know about it!🦊🤫🤐
