Can we have some Gladiator AU lore??

I’m gonna take this as an opportunity to info dump about the backstory of the au! I realize we haven’t been very upfront with what the actual story of the au is about. So here we go!

And that’s the gist! It will be a fic, once me, @deirunn and @alasylunatic get the story down! Feel free to ask any of us about the au!

And I’m thinking of drawing a fight comic. Sooo, do you guys have any astrals you’d like to see kill each other in the arena? I’m all ears :3

"A SON ALWAYS PROTECTS HIS PARENT" (pt.1)

FC is currently running from Sun, because he have stolen one of Moon's technology and didn't want to return it, so he teleported to the PizzaPlex and now he's hiding in a high place in the Gator Golf.

Sun: FC! C'MON BUDDY COME OUT! YOU KNOW MOON DOESN'T WANT YOU TO TOUCH HIS STUFF!

Foxy: *laughing softly, so Sun can't hear him*

Sun: FCC!! Ugh, I swear this kid. Where even is he??

While Sun is searching, someone is slowly approaching him...

Sun: FC! C'mon! I don't to play anymore! Come out- AAAAAHHH!!

Sun: WHAT THE-?!?

BloodMoon: Heyy~ Sunny boy~

Sun look terrified at BloodMoon that is on him/her.

Sun: W-What do y-you want...?

BloodMoon: Oh you know, I just want to play a little with my favourite toy~

Meanwhile, FC was watching confused and suspiciously, but when he looked at his "father/mother"'s look, he knew there was something wrong, so he listened more carefully.

BloodMoon: so~ which game do you wanna play Sunny Boy?~ Oh I know: "reap and tear" is the perfect game, but be careful the much you screams, the much you will have missing parts~

Sun stares at him horrified and starts moving to get him off, but BloodMoon took his arm and tore it away.

Sun: *SCREAM* AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!

Sun starts screaming and crying for the pain, meanwhile BloodMoon was laughing loudly.

FC was scared and horrified by the scene, but he had to do something to save his parent.

He notice that the technology he stole was some kinda of enlarging machine and near him there was a toy, so he took it and starts running right above were his parent and the monster were.

Sun: *CRYING AND SCREAMING* PLS STOP! JUST STOP- AAAAAHHHG!!

BloodMoon: oh~ poor Sunny~ are you scared?~ What a weak little sh*t, can't even stand for him/herself~

(Listen to this and go at 00:30 minute, If you can, because the song makes it a lot more enthusiasmatic)

FC: HEY UNGLY MONSTER!!

BloodMoon raise his head, a little after Sun too.

BloodMoon: uh?

FC: WATCH OUT FOR YOUR HEAD!!

BloodMoon: who the f*ck are you?

FC: I'M HIS/HER SON! AND DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH MY PARENT!!

BloodMoon: ooohh~ so you got a son now uh?~ I bet he's as weak as father/mother.

FC: SO YOU WANNA BET UH? LET'S BET THEN!! FATHER/MOTHER MOVE!!

As FC said it, Sun took off him BloodMoon and moved away.

FC turns the toy into a giant toy which fell upon bloodmoon, burying him.

BloodMoon: AAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!-....

Sun stare at the whole scene, huffing really hard.

FC rushes to his/her side immediately with the technological thingy in his hand.

FC: FATHER/MOTHER!! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!?

Sun: *still huffing* Y-Yeah, t-thank you f-for saving me.

FC: OF COURSE!! I WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR YOU FATHER/MOTHER!

Sun's view begins to blur.

FC: Father/Mother you sure you're ok??

Sun: Y-Yeah, d-don't w-worryy-......

Sun pass out and FC starts panicking.

FC: FATHER/MOTHER WAKE UP!! PLS YOU CAN'T ABANDON ME PLS!! WAKE UP!!!

FC: SOMBODY HELP!!

Laia is meeting Lunar for the first time. Poor guy wishes it would have been in better circumstances. And Moon is making fun of him because he is a great, loving, older brother.

Laia thinks Lunar is so adorable, if she could she would have put him in a pocket and kept him forever. But she hasn't met Dazzle yet.

Coloring this room was a challenge. In the videos, it's very dark and green, but you wouldn't have seen much, so I had experiment a little with the colors.

I might draw a short one later about how Moon got the spoon out.

I have already said this time and time again but never in any public space, but I strongly believe if New Moon/Nexus hadn’t blindly accused Ruin before gathering any evidence, Ruin wouldn’t have gone through with his plan

Ruin never asked for access to parts until AFTER he was accused. Sure he was messing around with arcade cabinets before but for all we know that could’ve been less rooting around for parts and more actually trying to fix them

Ruin had an entire diary entry about wanting to be useful and not feeling like a burden.

Eclipse was rebuilt to be a distraction for Sun and Moon, but then Ruin was kidnapped by him. Afterwards, who gave a plan and captured Eclipse? Ruin.

Looking back at that episode I can imagine Ruin thinking “I think I’ve made a mistake” which is when he first started looking for a way to spare this dimension and Solar’s dimension. Solar who freed him from his cell and fixed his body for him. When he says he didn’t want Solar to die, I honestly believe him.

During the interrogation, no matter how good of an actor Ruin is, the pain in his voice when New Moon said, to his face, that he wasn’t even considered a friend, that pain was real. The moment that New Moon put a chip in Ruin’s body and forcibly searched through his memories was the moment that Ruin decided no matter what, to go through with the plan. “Looks like I was wrong…”

Yes, Ruin has done horrible things but we’ve seen time and time again that Ruin never had a choice before, why would he feel like he had one now? When he’s so close to punishing the council for what they’ve done to his home.

Not to sound like an apologist but, in the end, maybe what Ruin did was a mercy after all. At the same time, if anyone had let Ruin know that he could rely on him, that they trusted him, he may have not felt the need to go as far as multi-dimensional genocide.

Who ruined that? Nexus. He told EVERYONE about how he suspected Ruin of being Eclipse’s creator which prompted everyone else to keep their distance. Sure he apologized but even Ruin could tell it was from a place of pity than actual guilt. But, as always, it can never be Nexus’ fault, can it?

(Part 1: Memory of Childhood)

Enzan sat quietly at his wooden desk. His PET was propped up on it’s stand in front of him. At this point, no navi graced it’s screen. It was a grey tool, used only for studies.

Toes brushed the floor as tiny legs kicked back and forth. A pencil drummed out an irregular tatoo on the desk’s surface. The test was almost over, and he was pretty sure he’d gotten every question right. His private studies and lessons had been getting much harder, and he didn’t know why. He’d had less time to go places with mommy.

The few times he did see her, she was very tired and needed to rest after only being with her a short time. She’d still been there to stop his nightmares though. With a hand through his hair, and a low hum, they were banished in seconds.

He shook his head, concentrating on the last question of the test. After he was done he could go visit her.
