Something I think is really funny about dratchrod is that I see so many people try to use drift as the middle man or like a buffer between ratchet and rodimus instead of recognizing the ratchrod side of things and I think people straight up forget ratchet and rodimus are friends. Like outside of drift.

They've both known each other for muuuchhh longer than either knows drift; they are war buddies!!! (NOT TRYING TO TAKE AWAY WHAT THEY HAVE WITH DRIFT IM JUST SAYING)

we see in MTMTE they literally just hang out. So many of the interactions we see of them are just them together with no one else on purpose just to talk bc they are friends. Their friendship in and of itself isn't super obvious if you dont look bc lots of those interactions you just see them together and imagine "Oh they are just alone by coincidence" but ITS THERE GUYS!!!!!! That's also not to say drift doesnt connect them- I think dratchrod works so well in my head because each of them brings out parts of the others.

The heavies/cargo carriers 🫶 you’ll never guess which ones the strongest

Prowl - Alt: Train. From cargo to passengers and prisoners Prowl is the Autobots you call when in need of under-the-radar transportation. His thoughts and feelings towards Decepticons and the war itself often get him into heated arguments. Especially with his spark brother Ratchet.

Cliffjumper - Alt: (undecided) He’s a bit too excited when it comes to battle. His over-eagerness often gets him in trouble. However, he’s strong-willed and believes deeply in the Autobot cause. He's often undermined by his size but don't let that fool you, he's stronger than he looks.

Bulkhead - Alt: (undecided) He’s often overlooked by his fellow Autobots. He's seen as clumsy and a bit dumb as well although he's smarter than people give him credit for. It's not Bulkhead’s fault everything around him isn't built to his strength. Despite his shortcomings, he's deeply loyal to his friend. He makes sure that they know just how much he cares for them, even if they don't exactly care for him.

Ironhide - Alt: (undecided) Before the war he often served as a cargo bot; loading and unloading varying items of importance. He's still trying to make sense of the war around him. He's not sure what to think of it but he knows his role, and whether or not he likes it he knows what's got to be done.

Why even kidnap a medic when you don’t even listen to his advice

I’ve been thinking about how birth happens for sparklings with no physical bodies, I’d imagine it would be a lot easier?

Ahh classic Megatron having a more difficult time then he has too because he won't listen to other people

Newborns feed directly off their creators spark which will be slightly modified to accommodate something feeding off it, they also can move freely on their parents armor, if placed on the ground they can’t move and will eventually fizzle out of existence if left alone long enough

Sparklings grow from a ball of electricity to a ball of electricity with limbs that can move without their parents, eventually forming a soft frame when they’re old enough, that armor then flakes off over time for bigger armor or they do it all at once, like a crab (I still haven’t decided). Once they shed into their final size it is totally safe for them to modify their frame

For the first time ever, the polished "Blu-Ray cut" of Detroit Evolution is available to watch online.

This was originally edited in late 2020 for the now-discontinued Blu-Ray release. I always felt the YT cut was unfinished, so I used the Blu-Ray as a chance to improve the sound, recut the fight scene, and polish it overall. Up til now, the only people who've seen this version are the handful who got their hands on a Blu - but now its on our new site Octopunx for free, for all!

I also included the Blu-Ray commentary track too, which you can toggle on if you're into some yapping. And if you search around the site you can also find a DE picture gallery and the entire original score streamable too!
