what i say: im fine
what i mean: why doesn't cartoon network's cartoon 'Clarence' have more fans? it portrays a healthy family with two mothers. it realistically represents children and how unique they all are without just portraying simple stereotypical character traits. one of the main characters, Jeff, who is male, is seen wearing a dress without making a big deal of it. some characters are coded to be mentally ill, and it's not their entire personality. another main character, Sumo, has a family living just above the poverty line, and while he is portrayed to be the more unruly of the group, it's not his only trait and is shown to be clever and smart in certain situations. the animation is cute and unique, and the character designs aren't too flashy or unrealistic. it is vastly under appreciated and deserves more love than what it gets.
