my half of an art trade with @minttea31 !!
he’s got orange accents, but I’ve done a version with blue instead!
hope you like him!
(blu)
oh cool, thank you!
hi! i hope you're having a nice day!
i managed to take a picture of this guy the other day, and i think i spotted him again today! apologies for the poor photo quality, but i think he's a belted kingfisher? it was super cool to see him regardless. this was near Tsawwassen, BC
Yes, a belted kingfisher. One of my favorite birds!
Carnivorous Ruse (a VERY popular base maker) has no self restraint in not starting new base projects, I understand having like 2 at once but they have their hybrid bases, new feathered bases, realistic headshots, baby bases, dinosaur bases, and probably more I'm forgetting!
They also are quite lazy when making their bases in my opinion, having a brush to make scales and using a circle tool when making the strange big Rainwing scales... it makes their bases look sloppy and like they put minimal care into them
.
artists, this is ur reminder to start drawing references or redesign your original characters before artfight in july this year
oooh, Sunset! such nice colours, and a really nice earring! I love the expression
thank you <3
🎧? !!! <3
they say it's darkest before the dawn we've been in this town for far too long they say it's darkest before the dawn we're moving on, we're moving on, we're moving on!
Your song is sunset by the midnight! suggested names: sunset, twilight
this looks really good! i really like how you did the scales on the nightwing, and the mane/sail on the samdwing
found this buried in my hard drive from well over a year ago, before a bunch of stuff happened, so i dunno if i’ll ever bother to finish it but it’s here now
not sure i got it entirely right, and i had to quickly look up the author, but
here there be dragons by jane yolan
the map tells sailors where to sail
the decorations sun and whale
the warning spelled in letters pale
here there be dragons
the well known routes upon the map
should cause the sailors no mishap
but north-northwest there is a gap
and here there be dragons
the continents are not drawn true
the ocean waves outlined in blue
sea serpentine provides the clue
where there be dragons
yet year by year the ships have passed
cross oceans wide and oceans vast
and sailors stared atop the mast
for where there be dragons
but no jaws of blue or scales of green
are by these modern sailors seen
do you think that this might mean
here there be no more dragons?
i'd like to hope, i'd like the pray
the dragons have just gone... away
and will return some other day
then here there will be dragons, again
poll time. yes this is just a ploy to get people to recommend me poems
if yes, let me know which poems/recite some for me in the tags!
It is more important than ever to keep sharing, showing up for protests, and sending emails to your representatives.
Keep talking about Palestine until the siege on Gaza ends, until the occupation ends, and until Palestinians are free.
