I have a side blog for the book I'm working on with my friend if you want to check it out!

The Puppeteer is a story about a girl named Maria going to a new, quiet town in Michigan. She meets a few people and learns of a cabin near her house that is said to had killed a family; and 'The Puppet Man' now haunts it. Curious, Maria and her friends check it out. Well-she does at least. Maria now has to decide who to listen to. Listen to her mother and get away from the cabin at all costs? Or... him.

first, blinding white, before it simmers into the crimson of twilight

a bloodstain spread across billowing clouds.

It turns your brown eyes red, that light,

when my throat is in your hands, pulse stammering against your palms

right by your thumb, where I used to kiss you

the press of my mouth, the press of my heart, the press of your hands against my neck
