⛅ First thing's first, is that I HAVEN'T EATEN ANY OF THIS YEAR'S AVOCADOES 😞
I get my avocadoes from friends and relatives who are lucky enough to have their own avocado trees and it always gets crazy when it's in season. Somehow this year, the trees are late and I felt a missing piece of summer when I didn't celebrated it with my avocadoes. Huhuhu
⛅ I wasn't feeling really good last April when it comes to doing the things I love, I had no motivation and was super out of it and I didn't know why. Back then, my thoughts concluded and blamed some retrograde (lol) and didn't arrive any "final" decision because I always keep changing my mind (which sucked tbh). So I wanted to escaped my out of that through reading volumes and I mean VOLUMES of comics, manga, webtoons, watched youtube videos of every kind until around the first days of May, I found Mateusz Urbanowicz's channel full of the kind of art I love & I want to renshuu(!!). It was also around this time that I felt like I was back on my feet again (but back to square one since I was out of it for the past months even school had ended). Clara Benin's new song also came out in a demo posted on her channel and THIS, THIS was indeed an eye opening thing when I heard it for the first time, always struck by her words. Wrestle helped me so much during that strange time.😌
⛅ So I came back and had my ooh moments together with me and I was straight on with planning personal projects. I started off with a scenery practice with a twitter photoset of Ghibli scenery (WHICH I STILL HAVEN'T FINISHED YET BECAUSE HUHU 💔 I WANNA FINISH IT!). I felt like I was in the zone (lol) and I was soo into it but it got cut off right away because a summer job called in that was supposed to be already there last April but they started late in the middle of May so I suddenly got my hands full 😐 Ended the summer with a tiring job that unexpectedly and barely paid smh (not going back there ever) 💔 The zone is gone but even now I still want to finish what I've started aaa timing sucks hmp.
⛅ SENIOR YEAR!! School started and I kinda miss my previous class since they were all kind of approachable and easy to talk to compared to this year. I observed that I don't talk much to this class but we'll see as time flies since it's still the first three weeks of school so 🌞 I also observed that I suddenly have more time in between periods and that maybe I could be more productive instead of sleeping & staring at the open space haha 🙆
Let's just see how everything goes
Here’s to the weird and wonderful :)
Here comes more weeiiirrrd. (and the wonderful :)) )
I am proud to introduce these books of magic written by great senpais whom I really look up to. These books are the fruit of senpais’ sipag, tiyaga, dugo’t pawis and all other words that can say through their pusong mamon na pagsisikap. (lol im talking tagalog here im not even good with this) It’s nice to see that more passionate people near me have also the same love for this kind of art, and kawaii ;_; So note to self Justinne Hannah, you are not alone.
The Kawaii PH book was launched last June 17, 2015 and Abbey Sy’s book was launched last June 20, 2015 (my birthday huhu ;_;). Too bad I reaaallly couldn’t come to both events (why is this country an archipelago anyway). If were to come I’d definitely be in full support with you guys ;_;
“The Kawaii PH Book was created by the members and friends of the Kawaii Philippines team by compiling and sharing their stories, experiences, inspirations, blogs, and actions in order to help spread the meaning of kawaii and what makes every individual unique. The aim of the book is to enlighten people and educate the curious on what kawaii actually is, and what Kawaii PH does. “ - Kawaii PH
Proceeds of the book will go to www.kawaiifund.org
The Kawaii Fund is a fundraising campaign by Kawaii Philippines. One of Kawaii PH’s ways of making this happen is the book. They are also selling shirts and holding kawaii workshops like the upcoming dance workshop with cover group Seishun Kakumei. All of these will someday result to a kawaii dream for the community, Kawaii in Manila 3 / Kawaii in Asia. <3
So gambatte!! <3
THE ABCs OF HAND LETTERING by ABBEY SY
I was sooo happy they launched the book at the same time as my birthday (fangirling haha * *)
I just got this last week and after three months of searching and searching, it was finally available in my nearest NBS branch huhu. Turns out the book got sold out and I got the second printing (to be available in an isolated NBS branch) but still yaaay I got it the day before I proposed my thesis title (reality check lol)
Proposed my title and I can take a little relaxation and draw & paint again huhu it’s been a while ;_; More ahrt for meeee
Oh and also looking forward to to Reese’s first album soooon! MUST get a copy of her music * *
That’s probably it for now, ‘til next time!

Galileo Galilei, my heroes. I'm gonna miss you guys ❤
Last week’s weekend escape to Pamilacan Island! It was so nice and peaceful huhu my best afternoon naps were here (~ ̄▽ ̄)~
There was no “water” so we just washed our hair with salt water haha
How I made my last-minute seifuku shirt
I came up with a school girl costume bc i thought it would be a lot of fun to paint paint paint X)
I first started sketching what the shirt looked like and what colors should I use. I decided to go with purple because I want to pair it with my lavender skirt (◑‿◐)
I used a plain white shirt (my mom had an extra :3 ), some masking tape and Liquitex Acrylic Color or acrylic paint. Simple as that! :3
Thank you Erica for the blue paint! T T The other reason why I picked purple because I only had purple paint. im sorry
Imperfect white spaces suck so
Yay!
It turned out to be okay (i think). It had a little paint on the sleeves because of my clumsiness hehe ooops. The paint I used was permanent and water resistant so curse my clumsiness > < I tried bleaching it but it didn't work so I just accepted my fate.
It was a lot of fun. 'Til next time! (◑‿◐)

Slept late and woke up early because of a book (again). The Little Prince is indeed a very beautiful story. If only I could have small volcanoes too lololol ♡ Also, hoorah a waterwork hihi. Someday I shall put my waterworks into one entry
五月 ー 七月 (June to July): ☁This journal is inspired by Reese’s aesthetic and Pixie’s iridescent life. 💕 ☁ Ate spicy sunflower seeds and it was good. ☁ Nasal allergies. ☁ “Fusion-y” tea. ✨ ☁ Secret autograph of Reese I will forever keep. ☁ Just saying I’ve learn a lot from Ate Kaila. 💕🌈
My problem with notebooks and journals is that I’m not worthy enough to use them because I might ruin there beauty. Another reason why I take days to finish a page > < But I love them still.
I’m telling you it’s good music
Reese 1st Album Launch Green Sun, 12.06.15
Hands down, Reese’s album launch has been the best album launch I’ve been to (ever!). So much was going on, I wasn’t sure if it’s an album launch or a carnival fair/ birthday party. There were various art & snack booths going on around from 4-6pm, with music by CRWN and Gentle Universe. Their was a booth for temporary tattoo, a live brush lettering and calligraphy, live portrait illustration, their was free ~intergalactic~ ice cream and cookies and cupcakes, and their was an instax photobooth. Oh, and also, Jensen & the Flips and Tom’s Story performed. Psh, no big deal (j e n s e n a n d t h e f l i p s ! ! !).
But more than those shenanigans, I think the reason why this has been the best I’ve been to was the atmosphere of anticipation that filled the venue. Excited fans and friends have waited for the album for so long, and there was a shared feeling of excitement that finally, we will hear all of Reese’s songs live and have an actual physical album. It was a huge deal for me because I’ve been a fan of Reese since her Trophy Boy and Dressed Up Days. From leaving random comments on her blog posts to actually meeting her through a blog convention, my likeness for this “convenient sushi” never faltered.
Congratulations, Reese! You deserve this success as much as the universe deserves to hear your music.
Looking forward to Shinkai’s newest film!!

Australia's burning, unsustainable tourism slowly thrives in my island, bleaching corals almost everywhere. Being just a mere spectator in all of this totally sucks. A decade for change and action please. 💚 Let's do what we can, we have no time for wars.
There has been a whale shark interaction recently established for tourism here in my place and it was suspected for feeding. Whale sharks follow a migratory path for food in the waters and if the feeding and baiting goes on, then their paths are definitely disrupted. The province has been on the issue for quite some time now, and orders were given to the municipality to take necessary action. But from what I have heard, people operating the site didn't claim to feed the fish but instead baiting them. I personally don't know how that differentiates with feeding. I find it strange how people desperately find ways to protect the obviously wrong things.
I had zero knowledge of the whale sharks before I encountered them in Oslob, Cebu. Back then, they were feeding them with uyap (baby shrimp). I knew nothing about the massive ecological disturbance of the people and the business did to our waters. But I'm here trying my best to use what I had learned back then and do as much as I can. So far, volunteering has been my greatest achievement and I look forward to my contributions though small, at the very least it's enough to contaminate the minds of other people haha 😂😉
Made some minty lemon & cucumber and baked french bread topped with tomatoes, basil, and mozarella ♡
