One year of MCYT art!!! It was so difficult picking only one favourite from each month!

And before you ask, why yes, I did make a spreadsheet! And yes I am going to share my stats with you. MCYT fanart wrapped, if you will.

Since September 8th 2021 I completed 93 MCYT paintings. (95 if you include Scott and Sausage’s logos!) That’s an average of 1 painting every 4 days, all year! This isn’t counting illustrations I made for school, for my job, for my D&D campaign, any mcyt paintings that didn’t get finished, or any non-mcyt-related fanart.

In the last 10 years I’ve completed around 408 (digital) artworks. That means that, including non-mcyt illustrations, over a quarter of all the art I’ve made in the last decade was completed this year. And while I have covid, too!

In total I’ve painted 28 separate mcyts across Hermitcraft, Empires, Afterlife, the Life series, MCC, and more! I’ve gotten to work with the CCs directly and indirectly (looking at you, Pixlriffs) a good handful of times, which has been such an awesome experience 😄😄

22% of all my mcyt art is of Pixlriffs, but can you blame me? I just think he’s neat.

So yeah! This concludes my MCYT fanart wrapped. One year of being in this fandom and community! Not to be a sap, but despite all the problems with my health I’m grateful to have had the year I did. I got to make some awesome stuff alongside dozens of incredibly cool people—illustrators, writers, animators, cosplayers, and more—and I really got to push myself to become a better artist. I’m excited to see what comes next!! ☺️💖✨
