Wake up, we're only at the start of it

We're only at the edge of the ocean...

And there's eternity to go

And even in my searching

I know I'm only ever really just beginning

And even though your endless

Lord, my joy is in the searching of Your heart

Father, Your peace surpasses everything

All thoughts and understanding

As I trust upon Your name

..And even on this ocean

With the waves all crashing over and around me

I put my trust in Your love

For Your voice has stilled the savagest of storms

...So let Your voice that stills the raging sea speak over me..

Speak "peace".

LMAO

Steal my beauty products? You're in for a surprise

A few years ago when I was a student, I lived in a shared house type situation with five other people. We each had our own rooms, but there were two bathrooms that we had to share. There was a smaller, third space, that was just a small room, with a shower and a teeny tiny sink and vanity. Tbh, it was the smallest room and because it was an old house, it wasn’t the prettiest looking space and some of the mildew and damp patches could get bad in the winter, but it had the best shower pressure, so I preferred to use that space to shower.

About a month after my friend moved out and another girl moved in, I noticed that I was having to buy shampoo and conditioner more often than usual. Now, other people used to keep some of their personal belongings in the bathrooms, but it was easy to identify who’s was who, or sometimes it’d be named. It’s that thing of if you want to use something or borrow something, then ask.

Please be mindful of the “spiritual” posts and advice you see on social media and platforms like this ones, even if you aren’t a Christian. A lot of the beliefs that are promoted on here are quite harmful and dangerous to practice, I know that from personal experience. I’m always asked why I don’t believe or subscribe to things like astrology and other new age beliefs, but I was once someone who partook in those things and I experienced first hand the damage that it can have on someone’s psyche and overall well-being. A lot of people are depressed and suicidal these days because they want to cling onto something to get meaning out of, something “spiritual”, so they start making idols of these new ages beliefs: the position of the planets, seeing themselves as the gods of their own reality, etc.

The most disturbing thing I see promoted on here is flat out witchcraft and the use of spells to get things out of life. Understand that not everything that appears of light is of light. Yes, you may get some things by practicing occult rituals, but at what cost? Trust that sooner or later those things will come back to haunt you. You don’t know what or who you are inviting into your life.

I don’t know who needed to hear this but my spirit compelled me to write this. It’s coming from a place of love and not judgement. If you guys want to dive on these types of subjects and my opinions on it let me know through my inbox.
