I think I need to crush Kayne's windpipe tear him open and feast on his artificial flesh that is a twisted mockery and abomination to mortal life itself.
does anyone wanna hold hands until we feel a little braver
"average podcast character whimpers 3 times a year" factoid actualy just statistical error. average podcast character whimpers 0 times per year. Arthur Leter, who falls into hole & whimpers over 10,000 times each day, is an outlier adn should not have been counted
Just remembered the whiplash I got from Harlan saying “timpanies” so here’s a little rant about it
Timpani is technically already a plural word. Even though it can be used for just a singular drum (ex. can you move the 29 inch timpani to the left?), the correct word for a singular timpani drum is technically timpano. Even if the orchestral setting that Kayne was in had multiple timpani players, they would probably just be called “timpani.”
Ok rant done I just remember my head WHIPPING to my phone when he said that, and I had to do a little psa for all my non music folks!
bet

For Day 8: Disability and Diagnosis
@jonmartinweek
@icryink I recently came across the ‘cringetober 2024’ and wanted to do it bc it looks pretty fun :D
Here is day one, a redraw of my friends drawing
praying for lilith to have been lilly the nurse so i can retroactively care about john's connection with lilly
I don’t need therapy. I need my husband (archive of our own) to return from war (the server is currently down) and come home to his devoted wife (an ao3 user who was in the middle of reading a gay sex scene). it’s been almost two years (20 minutes) since he (ao3) has been taken from me
i truly think we've survived the darkest parts of arthur and john's tumultuous relationship. i think the cycle of tearing each other apart and making up is finally over.
the way they interacted all through season 5, and just their overall dynamic, plus with yorick in the mix - it seems so much more mature, yk? they're actually communicating, they're not blowing up at each other every time they get angry. they haven't verbally flayed each other alive even ONCE. and even when they did argue, it never felt quite so mean-spirited as in the past.
it really feels like they've grown, and honestly? i'm glad! the divorce/remarriage thing could only go on for so long before it started to get old, and i'm glad they seem to have settled into a new normal!
I don’t post very often because I’m often busy with schoolI draw sometimes idk
