Hey everyone, my name is Abdelmajed, and I want to share a little bit of my journey with you.
I was born and raised in Gaza, a place I once called home. Life was simple but beautiful. I remember sitting with my family in the evenings, drinking tea and telling stories. I remember walking through the streets, greeting neighbors, feeling like I belonged. I remember celebrating birthdays, laughing over silly jokes, and dreaming about the future.
But in the blink of an eye, everything changed. My home is gone. My family is not whole anymore. My city is unrecognizable. ๐ The streets that once felt so safe are now filled with emptiness. The laughter has been replaced with silence.
And yet, I hold onto my memories. Because memories remind me of who I am, where I come from, and what truly matters. They remind me that love, family, and connection are stronger than destruction.
If youโre reading this, take a moment to appreciate the little things. Hug your family, tell someone you love them, appreciate the warmth of home. These small moments are what truly make life beautiful. ๐
And I'm now waiting to be Vetted by @gazavetters ๐
โFrom Rubble to Hope: Help a Gaza Family Reclaim Their Futureโ
Our home, once a place of warmth and hope, was destroyed in a single moment. Along with it, we lost not only our shelter but everything that made life bearableโour belongings, our books, our tools, and even the medical equipment my siblings used in their studies.
This is our beautiful house after it was bombed. We miraculously survived, thanks to God.
This is our beautiful house after it was bombed. We miraculously survived, thanks to God.
My sister, who was studying medicine, had their dreams shattered when they could no longer attend university. I was also forced to postpone my education. What used to be days filled with learning and striving for a better future turned into endless struggles to secure the basics โ food, water, and safety.
On top of this, my youngest sister, Aya, who is only 7 years old, now suffers from constant anxiety, panic attacks, and overwhelming fear. The terrifying sounds of bombings and explosions have left her emotionally scarred. Every night, she wakes up crying, unable to sleep, as the trauma haunts her little heart.
Today, we have nothing left. The dreams we worked so hard to build have been shattered, replaced by an overwhelming sense of loss and hopelessness.
But we refuse to give up. With your help, we can begin to rebuild. Your generosity can help us secure shelter, basic necessities, and the opportunity to resume our education. We hope to raise $70,000 to rebuild our lives and give Aya, and the rest of my family, a sense of safety and hope again.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to hope. Together, we can turn our pain into progress and give my family a second chance.
Your support is more than just a donationโitโs a lifeline for a family that refuses to give up on their dreams.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Please share our story with your friends and familyโit means more than words can express.

Unfortunately, today it was confirmed that my mother has been diagnosed with malignant cancer ๐๐, how painful and difficult this is to hear. What happened to my mother is because of the poverty of food and medicine, famine, war, destruction, and the dust of toxic missiles that are falling on us in gaza
Today I ask you to stand by me and my mother so that we can treat her ๐๐๐๐๐
I'm Lama from Gaza, I'm 24 years old, and my husband is Mohammad... We got married in 2022 in a house full of love and happiness. Our house was beautiful, we chose everything in it carefully... We were waiting for the end of the day to go there after a tiring day of work, but the occupation did not leave us. ๐๐ญ๐
This house was bombed with all hatred. Here we are after the genocide. We have nothing... We lost our house, our work, and our car.๐ญ๐
We were displaced to Rafah in a tent that could not accommodate 5 people, and after the displacement from Rafah, we were displaced to Mawasi Khan Yunis again. It was a very difficult period... but now we are in Mawasi Khan Yunis in a tent that does not protect us from the cold of winter or the heat of summer.๐๐ญ
This is our tent, its floor is made of cardboard, as you can see, and I suffer from severe eczema due to the pollution of the air and the materials used, and the medicine is very expensive.๐ญ๐
Urgent: My husband needs a very necessary operation and medication. Please help my husband in order for his health to improve. He is in pain.๐๐ญ๐ซ๐๐

Hello ๐
Please take a moment to read my story.
I am Heba Al-Dahdouh. I currently live in the completely destroyed city of Gaza. Since the war on Gaza began on 7/1/2024, my family- my father Nasif, my mother Asmaa, and my siblings Khaled, Ahmad, Muhammad, and Malak-have been living in constant fear, crying, and suffering due to shrapnel, shells, and bullets.
We have no food, no electricity, no cooking gas, no schools, no homes, no cleaning supplies, and no clothes. Our house was completely destroyed. My school has been bombed, and my brother Khaled's university is now rubble, depriving us all of education. The war has forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents unsuitable for living, especially in winter.
Every day we live death, terror, and panic a thousand times because of the ongoing bombardment of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the start of the war, we sought refuge at my aunt's house, but it too became rubble. Imagine: we have survived imminent death more than 20 times and have been displaced among shelters more than 13 times. My siblings and I have suffered from many illnesses due to malnutrition, and we need medication continuously.
If we stay in Gaza, we might lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza for a safe place. However, travel costs are extremely high. We need over $50,000 to leave Gaza. Due to exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, lack of security, the ongoing siege, and relentless bombardment, we have lost all our money. How can we live in such insecurity, with constant shelling and shrapnel flying above us? Dear compassionate friends around the world,
With your generous donations, even if small, you can save 7 people from imminent death, allowing us to start a life outside Gaza filled with love, peace, and hope.
With my warmest regards from the city of Gaza,
Heba Al-Dahdouh.
My name is Ahmed. My wife Hadeel and I dreamed of a simple life together. We married in February 2023, and now Hadeel is pregnant, which makes our situation even more urgent. We had just settled into our cozy apartment in northern Gaza when everything changed on October 7, 2023, when war shattered our lives. We lost our home and my job, and after a series of evacuations, we ended up in a tent by the sea in Khan Younis.
As winter approaches, our situation is dire. We urgently need your support to help us rebuild our lives. Thank you for your kindness during these challenging times.
Amid the devastation of Gaza, five children stood before a broken electric pole leaning on the ground. They decided to turn it into a balancing game, competing to walk across it without falling.
Their laughter echoed every time one of them wobbled or nearly fell, cheering each other on with enthusiasm. After playing, they sat beside the pole, dreaming of real amusement parks far away from the rubble.
Despite the dusty sky and the destruction surrounding them, they realized that their dreams and laughter were stronger than all they had lost.

Dear Friends,
Dear Community,
I am Ahmed Abuowda,
A Palestinian citizen with roots in Khan Younis,
A father of three beautiful girls.
I have always been deeply committed to protecting human rights and helping those in need. However, the recent explosions in Gaza have shattered everything we once held dear. Our homes, filled with love and precious memories, now lie in ruins. I havenโt just lost my house, iโve lost everything that mattered to us.
My mother's home, my appartment and all it belongings. All gone, leaving behind only painful memories.

Despite enduring so much, we remained steadfast, helping others through their own times of need.
As 2023 approaches, the basic necessity of shelter looms over us. My hope was to rebuild our lives in Khan Younis. Yet, faced with the reality that Gaza is no longer habitable, we had to seek safety and a fresh start beyond its borders. Tragically, some of our loved ones remain behind, while others have fled or perished.
Today, my family and I find ourselves in the Arab Republic of Egypt, struggling to rebuild. Without proper residency or citizenship, it has been nearly impossible to secure work or provide our children with the decent life they deserve. All our attempts to establish stability here have failed.
I humbly appeal for your support. Though I am not accustomed to asking for help, I now reach out in desperation. Your generosity no matter how small can serve as a line of hope, helping us rise from the depths of this disaster.
As the world faces its own challenges, your solidarity could be our lifeline. Please stand with us in our darkest hours as we strive to rebuild our lives and ensure the well-being of our children.
Every donation, every act of kindness, brings us one step closer to survival.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Ahmed Abuowda

Is this restriction silencing the Palestinian voice?
Today, I noticed that I can no longer send the same number of asks as I used to. Is this a general restriction, or is it unfairly targeting voices advocating for the Palestinian cause?
