It's a toll free service with people who will help you find programs in your community to pay those bills, find food, and find housing! They will give you numbers to call so you can get help.
It is not 100% foolproof. Their job is to direct you to a program they believe will help your current issue, but it's still a step up from praying random strangers online will give you enough cash before a deadline! The added benefit of these community programs, which get funded by the local government most of the time, is if there are more people using them then they can get more money to help more people.
You're not taking resources from other people if you use your community services. Your taxes pay for them. Use them.

Before I continue writing for the collection--And I do apologize for this, but I just need to say that I am in dire need of funds due to the fact that I did not get enough commissions last time to pay for the entirety of March's bills, and now it's catching up to me. I need to gather $500 immediately tomorrow to pay for it all.

I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:
IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.
1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.
2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.
3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”
4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”
5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.
TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.
Reblog this to keep other users aware. Suicide isn’t a joke, and neither is someone’s life. If you didn’t know this, someone else may not, either. Pass it on.

You could also commission me for a full-blown illustration like these for 250$ too, because they're insanely detailed and take me longer to do.

I don’t know why, and I don’t know what it’s called, but when online artists include the art program they use, with all the open tabs of various brush tools and colour wheels they used, alongside their artwork in posts, it makes it feel so… Raw? Ruggedly beautiful?
Like the digital equivalent of a Painter wearing a dirty apron, holding a brush & colour pallet in hand, sweat dripping down their brow, standing along side their freshly created painting that they have likely put hours, if not days of work into. The creator stands beside their creation in all their dirty glory, as the photographer takes it all in. It tells a story, one filled with unbridled pride and joy.
I occasionally see it online and it’s always neat. I think more artist should do it but idk that just me :)

Okay, I've been trying to keep things under wraps- at least until I got to finish a handful of commissions, but the family business hasn't been doing the greatest lately.
In fact, we're very much on the reds right about now because of it, our funds are so low we're not gonna make it past the next day if I don't take comms immediately.
So I'm opening some slots again for the freeform full-body painted ones like these, they're available for 100$. Furry, simple robot designs, humans; I'll do 'em, so long as it's not hateful/offensive/too complex.

hey man i’ve always wanted to make music but i have absolutely no idea where to start. your stuff is pretty neat, any advice?
Pick up only one of the following: Logic, Reaper, FL, or Ableton - and then look up some tutorials on whichever one you choose. These are called DAWs (Digital Audio Workstation) and they all serve the same function as each other, so you don't need more than one. The choices listed are simply different price-brackets, Ableton is my DAW of choice, but its the most expensive, buuut it also includes the most comprehensive built-in list of effects and instruments out of the four DAWs mentioned. Then, think of a genre you want to make, and just like when learning to draw, look up some references! Look up videos on YouTube about the genre you wish to create, watch what they do, emulate it, spend time learning the DAW, get familiar with Automation, learn how tracks and busses operate with each other, don't just copy!! DON'T neglect mixing and mastering either, but only concern yourself with that when you're feeling a bit more confident in the basics of song-making and composing!
