Fan Art/photo faffing made with Procreate using screenshots from the film Abigail. Could still use a bit of work but you get the picture, hopefully. My head is full of vampires (again) following the release of The Black Bird Oracle 🧛❤️

Just chillin’ with my favourite vamp in Procreate. This one is not a photo mashup, it’s drawn from scratch using LHR brushes and the grid method, which is definitely the only thing I am capable of! Everything freehand just goes seriously out of whack.

The reference pictures are from @asgoodeasgold (for MG behind the scenes in Abigail) and Pinterest. He’s ended up with a slightly weird smirk but never mind. We live and learn. And maybe he’s just smirking at Joey 🙃…

Mona is fleeting and enigmatic in the books. I’m not sure about her but I suppose that’s the point if she’s there to help us unpick/deepen the tangle that is Carl. I wonder what Rachel/Mona will be like in the series. We know she and Carl ‘fascinate’ each other, so hopefully the character might be less enigmatic in the show 🤞

Saw this (during the current re-run) and cannot stop thinking about it. So very, very, very funny.

Lazaar’s Backstory

Don’t mind me - just over here daydreaming about Lazaar’s backstory. Again. I blame @asgoodeasgold for this particular version: she posted a fab interview of about MG’s Wickham and I went down an Abigail x Death Comes to Pemberley rabbit hole 🐇.

Who knows why.

I adore the Coco Wyo colouring books, especially Spooky Cutie. If I could add some more vampire pages, they would feature my favourite vamp and, instead of ‘Cute but Creepy’ I’d call them ‘Lazar but Loveable’… like this one, where he’s reaching Joey a snack from his fridge. It would be a niche market, for sure… 😝
