Watching Saw VII terrifies me

I don’t even know what to say. Felt that sinking feeling when I first heard the news. Could have a melancholic chuckle from how the fandom always joked that this series would never have an end. We always knew in the back of our minds. Now it’s here. There’s nothing I could say that hasn’t been said already. I just can’t express my absolute adoration to such a beautiful and amazing series with such a wonderful story, art, and memorable characters, even the most minor of them.
Like the thousands of fans of Kentaro Miura’s influential and darkly beautiful work, Berserk. We give all our love and thanks for creating this legendary masterpiece.
Rest well and thank you, Mr. Miura.

Oh boy, this made me hungry.
My gal’s taste in post-war food would be considered prestigious in her journey to make exceptional cuisines with whatever’s available in the wasteland (when she has the time).
Her pursuit to create dishes that are up to par with pre-war foods is almost as fanatic as Chef Philippe’s degree of perfection. Alas, even her most delicious meals would be considered “tolerable” by her pre-war standards.
Her ‘favorite’ meal would be her noodle soup with different ingredients she enjoys including slices of either Brahmin, deathclaw, gatorclaw, hermit crab, or chicken meat. Along with boiled eggs from either deathclaws or chickens. Assuming deezer’s lemonade actually tastes like lemonade (not piss), it’d be a great flavorful addition to the broth. You better believe it’s a special occasion when she purchases vegetables to include in her soups from vault 81, freshest fruits and veggies in the commonwealth!😋
She would rather not think too much about her favorite food from the past, hurts too much to think about all those old world luxuries like fresh clean milk, spices, or even bread.😩
Worst post-war food? Definitely rad-rat and ESPECIALLY molerat meat.🤮It’s not a preference or an opinion, it’s a fact! If wastelanders are complaining about how bad molerats smell, then YOU KNOW it’s really fucking bad!! Can’t hold your breath for long if you’re eating one of them critters.🤢
If she’s lucky, maybe she could experiment more with her meals if she gets some imports from the west.🤤
Here’s a fun thought! What do you think your Fallout OC’s fave wasteland food would be? How does it compare to their fave pre-war (if applicable) fave? What food do they despise?
I’ll go first! Kinsey’s fave wasteland food is mirelurk queen steak. It’s hard to get, might be a little slimy, but damn- she likes it. She’s always liked seafood tho, her pre war fave was sushi! Now for the food she hates- radroach steak…
I can’t believe it was kept in the wraps for 2 weeks… but I’m a bit flabbergasted and still processing that Kentaro Miura has passed away.
It’s pretty easy to understate how big his influence is in art. Without him, we wouldn’t get Dark Souls and Bloodborne, and the animators and artists of Castlevania explicitly said he was in an influence in their work.
Miura, in my opinion, had one of the greatest eyes for detail and some STRONG, STRONG, STRONG visual imagery almost untouched by… well a lot of people really.
He pushed the visual imagery of fantasy and horror in new and exciting ways, and it’s a test to his timeless writing that we’re still invested in Berserk for decades.
RIP Mr. Miura.
wtf…. their size difference….. some kinky shits are flowin over my head……. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
