I need to lock tf in man šØ
Hi dear donors ! ā¤ļø
I would like to extend my thank and gratitude for the support you have been offering over the last eleven months. ā¤ļøāŗļø
My family and I have been suffering and going through the hardest days we have ever experienced in our life . Things are very hard to get and and sometimes unattainable.šš
Our sufferings and hardship started on the first day of the war when all our possessions were completely destroyed and burned. We have become displaced and homeless , finding ourselves in a small tent in streets with no means of life. We lack every single necessary thing of life; food, water, hygiene essentials, and other necessities have become scarce and rare.
Our life has been tough and harsh all the last time. No cooking gas , nor cooking tools exist . We struggle to prepare a small meal of food.
No bakeries are available. Everything seems hard and unbelievable.š
This is a part of burying the dead. We also face some problems in the process of buying our dead people as no place is there for the family. Tombs aren't for the number of people living on a small spot of land.
All what we need is to survive the war and be safe. We are trying to secure the daily basic living necessities and this can come true with your contribution and support. Please don't spare this moment of supporting the people in need in Gaza in this tough and dire time. You can help us by either donating however small it is or sharing my posts. Your support makes a big difference for families in need.https://gofund.me/7e428359
Hii, unfortunately I canāt donate but I can share the post!! I know it might not do much thoughhh
Ps - Mihawk is depicted as Zoroās father figure in this text
(Not proofread)
Non-canon butā¦
I think when Zoro kills Mihawk in their final duel, it would be a state where he finally achieves his dream that he worked on so hard for him to be happy, yet to feel a little empty at the same time. Iād have to agree that if Zoro does kill Mihawk, heād achieve his dream, fulfill his promise to Kuina, and put Mihawk at rest, which gives a happy ending for him, honor for his late best friend, and rest for Mihawk since heās grown tired of life.
Though, in the lens of how I view Zoro and Mihawkās relationship, I truly believe, from my heart of hearts, that Mihawk was somehow a parental figure to Zoro. Other viewers of One Piece might not see the vision or see the vision. In some peopleās eyes, Mihawk was only Zoroās mentor and rival, which is of course true, I am not against it, but how I view them might be a different story.
Zoro was already orphaned, he had no parental figures since both of his biological parents died when he was still very young, meaning he probably does not have much memory of them and wasnāt guided in life as much because of that. He had no parental guidance in life.
Now, during the timeskip, Mihawk played a crucial role in developing Zoroās swordsmanship. He has provided and taken Zoro under his care to train him to defeat him all because he saw that Zoroās actions were no longer for himself, but for his captain, that āhe found a greater cause rather than his own ambitionā. Surely, he isnāt the type of father figure that would coddle up Zoro and be soft around him since he plays mentor, he is supposed to make him reach a better version of himself. Though, I see the potential and why some may think he is a father figure to Zoro.
A parental figure is someone who gives guidance, care, support, etc. that resembles an absent parentās role. Mihawk gives these to Zoro for the two years in the timeskip, he is a role model to Zoro and he teaches and guides Zoro to defeat him. Zoro, an orphan, being taken care of and taught by the worldās greatest swordsman himself. Living in his castle. Eating his food. Under his care. For two years. For once, other than the strawhats, Zoro has been taken care of, under none other than Mihawk. The castle is a training ground yet a house to him. Where he eats, showers(? Considering Mihawkās toiletā¦), and sleeps, he is doing it in the same grounds where Mihawk is.
Do you think that maybe, if Zoro had killed his mentor, the one who saved his own seat of the worlds greatest swordsman for Zoro to sit on next, the one who cooked, gave him a house to live on for the next two years when he was separated from his crew, that he wouldnāt be a little sad and empty? Mihawk wouldnāt exactly be the best father figure unlike some others, but he would definitely be a memorable one to Zoro, all because the worlds greatest decided to be his mentor and care for him slightly like a father would.
So when Zoro finally sees Mihawkās head roll before him, I would like to think that he would feel free and happy he achieved his goal, and a little empty, where he finally acknowledges that in a way, he did see him as a mentor-father type of person in his life.
This is overall subjective and what if statements which isnāt well supported, but I just wanted to share what I thought:,,)
Credits to its only blood by MissingN000 on ao3 (heartbreaking fic), it helped me write this.

Ace, Sabo, and Luffy as Luke, Thalia, and Annabeth
We will change things around here. Of course theyāre still brothers. Luke in PJO has implied romantic interest in both Thalia and Annabeth, and wellā¦Ace isnāt like that!
But yes, the same story goes for the ASL brothers and Luke, Thalia, and Annabeth. Thereās gonna be a LOT of Ace mischaracterization here because itās an AU and wellā¦heās Luke Castellan here. Constructive criticism or welcoming comments are welcome!
Color Code: Green is something to take note of, Pink is the tragic and the drama, Red is the warning, Blue is the Adventure.
(Warning: Plot Holes)
The ASL brothers are led by their āGuardianā (Whether Dadan or Garp. Like Grover) to a safe haven āMt. Coluboā (Replacement of Camp Half-Blood)
They were persued by creatures sent by Saint Jalmack (replacement for Hades, who sent the monsters) since he had crossed paths with his ship once. (Similar to Hadesā anger with Zeus for killing his beloved Maria d'Angelo)
Sabo makes a last stand to allow Ace and Luffy to reach the Mt. Coluboās border, sacrificing himself.(similar to Thalia, who sacrificed herself to let Grover, Luke, and Annabeth in the camp) The world took pity on Sabo and turned him into a tree to play as Mt. Coluboās boarder. (Similar to Thalia, who got turned into a tree by her father that took pity on her and became CHBās boarder)
This is where the ābetrayalā takes in⦠(Lukeās Betrayal)
Years Later in Mt. Colubo, once Ace turns 17, heās now manipulated by the World Government to work for them (similar to how Luke was manipulated to work for Kronos). He betrays Luffy and leaves Mt. Colubo. (Similar to how Luke betrayed Percy and Annabeth in Lightning Thief). Ace decides to weaken Mt. Coluboās defenses by poisoning Saboās tree, which stirs trouble for Luffy and Dadan. (Angst for both Ace and Luffyā¦)
Luffy goes to retrieve an item similar the āGolden Fleeceā with his trio (any trio that isnāt ASL, whether it be monster, supernova, or romance dawn). The adventures go like how the āSea of Monstersā book go. They compete for the item since Ace is also trying to get it for the World Government. In the end, Luffy takes the item and heals Saboās tree, strengthening the boarderā¦.but
ā¦Sabo gets revived!
sabo being luffy and ace's safe space.
sabo being the brother that luffy liked to curl into on cold night. obviously he liked it when both of them would cocoon him in their warmth but ace always took so much cajoling and begging. sabo on the other would just lift up his blanket and luffy could slip right in, tucked away with the steady drumbeat of sabo's heart in his ears.
sabo being the brother that ace could vent to. luffy was obviously too young but sabo was his twin. he could talk to sabo. he could strategize with sabo. he could scream and yell at sabo and know without a doubt in his heart that sabo would still love him. he could push and hit and punch and sabo would come back teeth bared and still loving.
sabo reading to them and teaching them how to read. sabo necer making luffy or ace feel stupid. sabo sitting with luffy in his lap sounding out the alphabet as luffy whines but dutifully repeats the sounds back to him. sabo fixing up the treehouse, pointed not looking a ace bc ace will immediately give up if sabo looks, as ace works his way through a book.
sabo teaching them standard school subjects bc one day we'll be off this godforsaken island and people are going to ask you things and if they think you're stupid, they will scam you. and no ace, you cannot just punch them all. sabo figuring out that ace is kind of a genius at math and that luffy might be a lost cause but he understands most of it.
sabo reading books to luffy when he's sick. sabo doing voices for all the characters and coming up with little props so luffy gets excited. and when ace inevitably gets sick too, sabo reading to him too. ace will never ask but sabo sees the way ace's eyes dart between the book and him and that's enough of an ask for him.
sabo the middleman. sabo the brother that encourages luffy's whimsy and sabo the brother that calms down ace's fire. sabo the one that holds them down. sabo the reassure-er. sabo the softy. sabo the beloved.
(sabo the noble's son. sabo the trapped bird. sabo the self-sacrificial. sabo the dead.)
There might be some factors of how hot Aceās fire is to turn Crocodileās sand into glass tbh
im gonna take every single content of "mihawk adopts zoro when hes a child" and consume them with the force of a thousand suns..... zoro was so small and already so alone and angry he DESERVED family he deserved a PARENT not just a sensei
trying not to think about the fact shanks was probably abandoned because his father only needed one heir, and it was shamrock, so shanks wasn't worth raising. trying not to think about the impact this might have on shanks once he knows. trying not to think about how buggy has always felt sidelined, like roger's "second choice", an afterthought, while he saw shanks as the "favorite kid", always praised, always celebrated, oblivious to the fact shanks was once the second choice too. trying not to think about how, once again, shanks and buggy mirror each other perfectly, but it still didn't stop their relationship from shattering
