In this Au, the toons get a sickness that causes them to become twisteds. Due to circumstances of Gardenview the commons aren't around to catch the sickness. So the commons are going to help them—with the help of Dandy of course..!

Stage one:

• Wounds still frequently bleed

Stage two:

• Pain eased

• More calm and comfortable

• Memories start returning

• Personality starts coning back

• Wounds start to close

• Easier to stich together

• Beginning to speak

Stage three:

• Some aching

• Calm and passive

• Personality returned

• Ichor gone

• Wounds closed

• Fully capable of speaking

Jobs:

Boxten does research as well as expeditions to find the twisteds. He builds things to aid in the fixing of Gardenview

Poppy does most of the hard labor—along with Shrimpo—and during expeditions gets hurt often as she's the one who fist fighting/restraining twisteds.

Shirmpo is bait as well as an instigator. He goes on expeditions with Team A and gets the Twisted, vulnerable enough to get caught. He constantly puts his life on the line to catch the toons. He also helps with stock and inventory.

Comso mainly helps with recovery. He gets hurt a lot during stage one as the twisteds don't know they're being helped.

Looey works mainly on the floor. He works on helping stage three twisteds, trying to help them be the toon they used to be. Think speech, physical and mental therapist. He cooks the meals as well, despite Cosmo being the better chef.

Tisha helps run things. She makes sure everyone is taking their medicines on time—prescribed by Dandy—and that everything is in order.

Character extras:

• Comso keeps medkits on him due to his clumsiness

• Tisha likes to keep a list of important things for her to do

• Boxten insomnia makes it hard for him to work sometimes

• Looey isn't allowed on expeditions after be almost was killed during a run

• Shrimpo takes his anger out on his beat up punching bags due to the stress

• Dandy runs the machines as well as expeditions! He helps with the supplies

• The Commons do NOT like the new protein shake Dandy is giving them :)

Hi! So this an Au I've been changing and editing for a month now! This is going to have an actual story on here and then an ask blog to interact with the characters!

I'll go back and draw some of this

I'm taking all these‐ ESPECIALLY THE BOXTEN ONE

Dandys world hc becuz im too lazy to draw rn + haven't done these in a long time

- Astro has a tower stock of blankets, all of the same design but different fabric material. Don't ask him why, he just does

- Dandy is love starved as fuck after Gardenview's closure, he's used to getting all the attention and love so being revoked of all of it suddenly is not something he's used to and probably never will. It's why to me; he holds onto any sorts of friendliness and bonds from the other toons to keep himself sane

- Sprout can crochet, he learned it when his toon handler made his signature scarf. So whenever Sprout feels pretty nostalgic, he crochets. He doesn't really show his pieces to most toons though

- Boxten can straight up remove his key, specifically when he needs to sleep. He unintentionally scares his friends whenever he does this out in the open

- Finn sometimes rant about marine life, especially towards Shrimpo, idk why I just like to think Finn would rant about sea life at random ahh times

- I like the thought of the holiday toons being kept on the floor of their theme (aka; the christmas toons are sheltered on the christmas floor) rather then being in a dark basement or cell, not only do they have more room to run around but they feel at least more at home

- Looey is ace/aro to me and you can't change my fucking mind

- Toodles got her dog plush from Poppy

- Shelly has a lot of historical books in her room, from dinosaur to non-dinosaur related books and LOVES ranting about it to anyone who's willing to listen

- Connie likes eavesdropping on conversations, before and after gardenview's closure

- I like to think that toons would look up at the glass ceiling in the lobby a lot after gardenview's closure, specifically when it is morning

- Dandy still has all the gifts and letters he got from both his toon friends and the children, he wants to hold onto the happy memories
