Snipers In The Cold | Platonic!Keegan P Russ X M!reader

Snipers In the Cold | platonic!Keegan P Russ x m!reader

@satan-incarnate-666 asked: “Look at you! You're fucking shivering!” for keegan & m!reader who's like a lil brother to him?

summary: you and Keegan get to spend some time together while on a sniper mission.

tws: swearing, guns

Snow in your mouth, you did your best not to shiver and shake as you steadied your rifle and tried to still your hands, able to feel the frost start to creep in through your clothes as you stayed flat against the ground; beside you, Keegan looked more than relaxed, stretched out in his white camoflauge suit as he adjusted his white mask so that it wouldn't slip too much.

Keegan had hand picked you from the SAS to help out his team, as he had met you when you had first started your career, and had kept a distant eye on you, making sure that you weren't in any trouble, and he had yet to be disappointed by you; he liked having you around anyway, it was like being with the little brother that he never wanted.

He always protected you, though, always kept you out of trouble when he could, and although he never said it, Keegan was actually proud of the sniper that you had become. Now that he was beside you, watching you work, Keegan knew that he needed to be more vigilant than ever; this wasn't some routine operation where it was just him and his gun, he had you with him, and he would be damned if he didn't protect you. He cocked a brow when he saw you tremble slightly, thinking nothing of it until he saw that it had not stopped; you were shivering.

"Here," he shrugged off his heavy coat, and laid it across your shoulders, tugging the hood up so that it covered your head as well. Patting your head to make sure that it was in place before he moved to lie on his stomach beside you, kicking his legs out and nearly burrowing in the snow, the crunch and crackle of it nearly deafening.

You shot him a look, raising a brow as you watched him for a moment. "What was that for?"

"Look at you! You're fucking shivering!" He scoffed with a laugh. "SAS clearly didn't teach you how to stay warm."

You huffed, glaring at him for a second before turning your eyes back to the scope on your rifle. "And the Ghosts taught you, did they?"

"Don't be a smart ass," he grumbled, shaking his head and pressing his body down against the snow a little harder, trying to gain as much camoflauge as he could. "I'm starting to regret asking you to join us."

"No, you're not," you shovelled a little more snow into your mouth, at the very least you knew you could prevent your breath from being seen by any enemies. "You're just upset that I've shown you up."

Keegan grumbled again, sparing a glare your way before he shook his head and lifted his mask just enough to shove some snow into his mouth; it was cold, and made his back teeth sting as he winced a little and gritted his teeth. He didn't actually regret getting you to join the Ghosts, in fact, he did enjoy the company when you went out with him on missions, but fuck, if you weren't the little brother he never wanted.

Sure, he would look after you and would protect you and keep you safe, but that didn't stop him from thinking that you were an annoying, smart mouthed, little bastard. He could live without the constant backchat, if he was honest, but he would always be the one to volunteer to move out with you when it came to it; in a way, he supposed that he thought of you like family, even if he would have preferred to die than to actually admit it.

Stretching, Keegan wriggled around in the snow to get more cover, and when you picked a fistful of it up, smashing it over his head with a soft laugh, he narrowed his eyes and glared at you. "Don't do that again."

"I didn't do nothing," you said innocently. "Absolutely nothing."

If you weren't such a damn good sniper, Keegan would have told you to go back to the others and let him finish the job; but he needed you there, even though now his neck was coated in little clumps of snow, and he wasn't stupid enough to let one of the best snipers he had ever admit walk away from him just yet.

"You're lucky you're a good shot."

"A better shot than you," you quipped, grinning when he glared at you again. Hardly able to bite back the laugh that was threatening to make its way up and through your throat, tickling the back of your mouth as you tried your best to squash the urge down when you looked at him.

Many people were scared and intimidated by Keegan, by his cold glares and by the fact that he wasn't very talkative, by the way that he was so dangerous and lethal, especially with a gun in his hands, but not you; to you, Keegan was the person you looked up to. You wanted to be as good at the job as he was, you wanted to be like him. You looked up to him more than anyone else in the world, and you trusted him to guide you in the right direction; Keegan was your mentor, but he was so much more than that. He was family.

You could never be scared of Keegan, not even if he had a gun pointed between your eyes and was demanding that you do as he say, you could never be scared of him; even if he wouldn't admit it or even dream of telling you, it made him want to keep you under his wing that little bit more. You weren't scared of him, in fact, you would try and goad him into losing his temper all the time - just because you thought it was funny.

Keegan mumbled something under his breath, wiping his nose on his sleeve before he leaned over and wiped it on your arm. "You wish you were a better shot, Sergeant."

"I don't need to wish for it," you nudged him gently. "I could out-shoot you with my hand tied behind my back and a blindfold on."

"Sure you could, kid," he scoffed, but in actuality, Keegan didn't doubt that for a second. You were a damn good shot, and he knew it, and he didn't doubt that you could have performed better than him with one hand behind your back and a blindfold on. "You keep telling yourself that."

You smiled when you looked over at him, moving to rest on your side as you rested your hand on your stomach. "Say... if we get the job done right... could we have a snowball fight?"

Keegan thought about it for a moment, but judging from the excited glint in your eyes and how you looked at him with such hope, he couldn't bring himself to say no. "Fine. Just don't be an annoying shit about it."

Don’t leave

John Price X M!Reader

Summary: just a soft lil moment :]

A/N: and I’m back! Quick disclaimer that I have not played any of the COD games and all of my knowledge from said games or the military in general is either from random videos on the internet or my brother so please bear with me since this will probably be out of character, but I hope you enjoy! As always requests are open

Don’t Leave

You were used to nightmares and they plagued you on a regular basis, but this one was different. This one felt so real, like it had actually happened and you were experiencing a memory rather than a dream. You must’ve been louder than you thought when you were asleep, because soon after you’d finally caught your breath you heard a soft knock at the door.

You slowly rose from the bed on unsteady limbs to quietly pad over to the door. It unlocked with a click and as you opened it you were met with the concerned face of your Captain

“Y/n-“ he started, simply and light. But just your name on his tongue had you breaking down. It was embarrassing for a moment. You were a grown man, a hardened soldier that had taken countless lives on the battlefield yet here you were, tears gathering in your eyes as Price stood in front of your door alive.

You were quick to drop into his arms, and he was quick to catch you, pulling you to his chest as he kept a firm hand on your back while the other went to rest on the back of your head. The pressure just enough to let you know that he was there and that he was okay. That you were okay.

“Don’t leave” you’d whisper out, hands coming to desperately grab at his shirt to make sure he’d stay.

“Please don’t leave me again” you sounded so broken, and it was something he wasn’t used to. He gently led you back into your room and closed the door, locking it behind him as he sat down on the bed and pulled you into his lap.

“I’m here. I’m right here” he’d whisper into your ear, his hand gently rubbing up and down your back. He didn’t bother asking questions, he could use his context clues to figure out what was wrong and he didn’t think now was the right time to start pressing about whatever nightmare you had. You needed comfort, and he was there to give it to you.

You didn’t know how long you’d stayed in that position for, but it was long enough for both your legs and his to start cramping from the tension. He slowly laid you both down on the bed, carefully tucking you into his side as he wrapped the blanket around your bodies to keep the cold air out.

You eventually gained your composure, and you wished you hadn’t. Because now with a clear brain you could assess the situation, and by god were you embarrassed. You didn’t know whether to bury yourself into him further to hide your reddening face or to completely pull away and apologize profusely for what you had done.

You wiggled away just a little, Price looking down at you with a confused look as you stared up at him.

“I’m sorry…I didn’t mean to wake you up. Or have you take care of me like I’m some kid” you averted your gaze, trying your best not to let the shame completely engulf you.

“Don’t be” he said simply as he pulled you back into his hold again.

“It’s nothing to be ashamed about, we all get them. If I can help you through it then I want to, you’re not alone in this”

You hated how he always knew just what to say to get you to crumble, you hated how much affect he had on you. But you couldn’t argue with that warm fuzzy feeling filling up your chest, not that you really wanted to anyways. And you didn’t know where this put your relationship with the Captain, but it seemed like that was a problem for tomorrow. Right now you were tired, the sudden wave of exhaustion hitting you like a truck, and all you wanted to do was relish in the comfort you were getting.

You carefully put your head back on his chest, a content sigh leaving your lips as you relaxed in his hold, your body putty in his hands. As you slowly drifted off to sleep, a small almost unnoticeable kiss was placed on your forehead before he too let himself rest.

A/N: ahhh okay so this isn’t my favorite and I think it’s got a bad ending but I just needed something to get those creative juices flowing :]

im on my König brainrot atm. What if a reader half a head smaller then König took him down? Like reader got into a bet with someone to spare with König and to get him to the ground and winning. How would König feel knowing the reader can take him down?

Hello @spookybreadbluebird !!!

I enjoyed this one a lot! It was very, different to write for me, especially the mini-fight scene...

But I do hope you enjoy it!

König + Slightly Short!Male Reader

Y/n couldn't help but be pissed when he found himself on the sparring mat and König in front of him, looking away shyly but Y/n knew better than to underestimate his opponents.

König might have had the advantage with his size slightly, considering Y/n stood at 6'5, but it didn't matter when it came down to pure skill.

Sometimes he wondered why he ever let Soap convince him into a damn bet that was pointless at all...

It was a slow day in the 141 base when Soap had walked into his office, sweaty and tired as he sat down in some random chair. The man had just came from a training session as he took his time to regain his breathing before looking up to Y/n.

"That König, he sure is something... Feels like he was hitting me with bricks. I doubt anyone else can beat him aside from Ghost..."

Y/n let out a simple hum as he continued to work on his paperwork in front of him. The Sergeant’s face fell slightly before leaning back onto the chair more.

Y/n failed to notice the smirk on the Scottish man's face as he conjured up an idea.

"You know Y/n, I think König can even beat you too... Hell, I don't even think you could put him down if you tried."

Y/n fingers stopped dancing over the keyboard as he pushed himself away from his desk.

He sent a stern glare Soap's way, watching the man flinch in the process.

"You think I can't take down König, Sergeant?" he questioned, voice low and sinister.

"I bet you can't, sir," Soap responded looking him dead in the eyes.

"Just watch and learn," and with that Y/n got up and walked towards his door before making his way towards the sparring mats. Soap followed from behind like a lost puppy, grinning from ear to ear as he was eager to see what would be the outcome.

And now here Y/n was, facing König when he could have been finishing that paperwork that he needed to turn into Price later on.

Well, he was here now and to backing out would make him look weak, and Lieutenant Y/n had no intentions on doing so.

He took a deep breath before relaxing and finding himself into his main fighting stance, staring daggers into the Austrian's eyes.

He didn't say anything as some shouted "Go" from beside him and he was off.

König was quick to react to Y/n's right hook towards his jaw, dodging his head to the left slightly, thinking he was out of harms way.

Big mistake.

Y/n aimed a well-placed knee towards the Austrian's abdomen, knocking the wind out of the man before taking advantage of the small time to grab König's arms and throw the man's full weight over his head on the ground. From there, he put the man in an arm lock and pulled with enough force to not break it, but bask in the painful cries that feel from his lips.

Soon enough, König tapped and as Y/n let go of him.

Y/n looked back at König, watching the man sit there in shock at the loss, eyes wide underneath the sniper hood.

Y/n offered him a hand, watching the Austrian take it and pulled him into a standing position.

"How?" König asked in a small voice.

"You have a lot of openings in your form," Y/n explained, "And you're surprised easily."

König looked at Y/n in awe as he took in the words.

"I have work to do now," Y/n turned on his heel as he made his way back to his office.

Soap sat there gawking, guess he owned the Lieutenant something now.

König P.O.V.

He couldn't believe it.

Y/n made it look so easy.

So effortless.

So simple when he took him down.

He could only watch as the man carried himself back to his office like he didn't just kick someone ass with ease.

He said he was easy fo read... Was he really?

Was he that much of an open book?

After all his years of fighting, he had never been taken down so quickly.

Hell, if this were a real fight, he would have been death.

He could only stare at where the Lieutenant used to be in silence.

Perhaps, if he was lucky, he could learn a think or two from the man.

The next day, he found himself in front of Y/n's office, taking a deep breath before going in.

"Lieutenant Y/n."

"König, you need something?"

"Sir, after yesterday...would you," he hesitated, " would you be willing to train me?"

Y/n let out a low chuckle as he eyed him up and down.

"You sure you want this?"

He froze in place before grounding himself.

"Sir, I need this..."

Y/n sent him a smile.

"Sparring mats tonight, don't be late."

König stared before saluting him.

"Of course, sir."

A fate worse than death

Summary:Finding out why your call Death isn't as fun as hearing about it

Type:Scenario: 141 + Los Vaqueros X M!Reader

Version:Mw2

~

They were told that you could get your hands dirty. There's been jokes, about how to never mess with you. The people that knew you well watched their tongue and was extra careful around you then anyone else. The people that knew you well weren't scared of Ghost. Price was worried the first time you met Ghost. No one that knew how you fought would spar against you. They should have token the warning. The shadow company knew you, Shepherd knew you, Price, Graves, Alejandro, Laswell, All the leaders you've met. They knew you. Yet, with all that knowledge, knowing why you were called death they still fucked around and found out. Not Price or Alejandro or Laswell. But Graves. You were called Death, and when you hunted someone down people would tell them "A fate worse than death, is heading your way". You were labed as death and it'd be unfortunate to find out way first hand, not just hearing about it, cause when you hear about it, it's not as scary. It'll give you an imagine or a slight unsettling feeling stuck in your stomach for quite some time. A day. A month. Possibly a few minutes, or hours. Or even just a few seconds. But it never stayed long enough to make you permanently scared of someone, or something. So when watching you stand there, still, quiet, angry. It makes you wonder, what are you about to do. When your as well known as you are why would you just stand there. Some people slowly backed away, like Price and Alejandro. Ghost, Gaz, and Soap watched from their sniper positions. Rudy followed Alejandro, staying close behind. Laswall was trying to get insight of what's happening from Price. Graves was no where to be seen. But infront of you was a shadow company, holding his gun to your head, pressing to your head actually. You could see his shaking hands and all he could see were two eyes, that would probably be glowing red if they could. Your eyes said everything for you. You weren't happy, especially with a gun to your head. The shadow knew that he had a chance to run, to be safe away from you. But he didn't take the chance. He left it for his teammates who were long killed, him having no knowledge of that of course. Ghost had his scope on the man's head ready to shoot if needed, Gaz was watching a little closer with his sniper rifle same with Soap. Price didn't know exactly what was about to happen but he knew it wasn't gonna be pretty.

"Shoot him soldier!"

The shadow company soldiers shoulder radio went off, it was commander Phillip Graves. Who currently was watching from another place. No where near where the soldier was.

"You have the shot, Take it!"

Graves yelled again that's when the shadow made a grave mistake(get it?) He let go of his gun with one of his hands to respond to his commander. You seen the flick of regret in his eyes as you grabbed his gun, that was now only held by his weaker hand, and yanked it away from him. Instead of shooting him, you smashed the gun as hard as possible in the cheek bone, completely shattering the said bone. He fell back abit grabbing his face, you took that opportunity to smash the gun down on the top of his head, causing the gun to slightly crash his skull, but not enough to damage him to bad. But you didn't stop there. If you did he could have recovered with minor injuries. But no. You continued to smash the gun against his head until he fell all the way to the ground. Now standing over him breathing heavily you gripped the gun and looked at his thigns. Most people would have just killed him, but you? Your like a sloth bear, you inflict the most damage possible instead of killing. You smirked devilishly before repeatedly bashing his thign bone in, his femur bone the most painful bone in your body to break, also one of the strongest. You beat his leg with the butt of his gun watching as it slowly tore itself apart, his bone breaking more and more with every hit, his blood hitting your clothes, skin, shoes, gun, everything. Price covered his mouth horrified at the sight of blood, even though he's been in the military since he was sixteen he's never seen something like this. Alejandro couldn't look away, he didn't want to but it was hard to look away, and Rudy he stood there, gun at his feet, wide eyed as he thought stared. The snipers on the other hand couldn't see what was happening very well. The shadows screams echoed every second across the trees and large rocks surrounding him. You sudden stopped beating one of his legs but kept the gun digged inside of the area where a bone use to be, you looked in the man's eyes and smiled before moving to the other leg. If he survived, he wouldn't live much longer. You repeated the same process to his other leg this time a bit slower, just so he could feel it more. The shadow could feel his bone caving in on the bottom of his thign, he couldn't feel his other leg but he could feel the cold air hitting the inside of both of his thigns. Feeling the butt of the gun repeatedly hit his thign felt way worse than he could even imagine, his leg was turning to mush as you beat it with the steel gun. If you looked at his thigns with any light you'd see the way his muscle, nerves, veins even have caved in, you could see the way his bone broke and shattered due to direct contact. His muscles just looked like raw, boneless, chicken. A slightly brighter pink, covered in dark red blood causing you to not be able to see the pink muscle. The nerves sticking to muscle and bone as it was beaten done and destroyed by you, his viens also latching on to muscle and bone, just thicker and more noticeable than the white thin nerves. You can't see how all the muscles connected due to it being red gooey muse now. The man was only alive due to the adrenaline and pain running through his body. You backed away a bit and dropped the gun, looking at your work you turned your head to look at the three behind you. Price was horrified, slightly shaking, his hand covered his month as a instant reaction. He was like a deer in headlights. Alejandro had to turn around and throw up a couple time due to the bloody sighting. So he was hunched around a pile of puke turning his best to not turn around or puke again. Rudy had snapped out of it due to Alejandro puking. He had to stay strong for Alejandro.

"P...Please"

You turned your head back to look at the man.

"P..please j...just let me-me go..."

You leaned down and grabbed his hair pulling him up to look at you. Tilting your head you looked the shadow dead in the eyes with a look that could scare the devil. And smirked

"And how would you do that? Mm?"

The man only whined in pain as you dropped him. Chuckling you pressed your foot to the shadows head.

"Aww it was fun, but now it's your turn to sleep tight"

You then lifted your foot, bringing it down at a fast paste, the man moved as fast as he could. Grabbing a throwing knife and jabbing it into the sole of your shoe and foot, you let out a scream and you slightly jumped away from the man, causing him to flip himself around and drag himself. Not caring that the grass, the dirt, and small insects along with bacteria was getting into his busted thigns, getting on his blood, beaten muscles. He was basically rubbing the, still intact, muscles and fibers into the disgusting earth below him. Causing infections and sickness to weld up in his opened legs. He thought he was getting far with slowly dragging himself away, but he didn't know or see you yank the knife out of the bottom of your foot. Throwing the knife into the man's shoulder you grabbed his other shoulder and flipped him back over. Now he could see your face clearly. It was covered in blood, his blood, dripping as the droplets of blood connected, making a small stream of blood to run down your neck and torso, speaking of torso, your shirt and vest were covered, soaked in the man's blood, the bombs, the gun, throwing knife, taser, everything had blood on it. But your expression was pissed, it had a permanent glare, a snarl mixed with panting. He could see your spit that was on your teeth causing a string of saliva to slowly fall from the two teeth. The man looked at your eyes, filled with bloodlust and rage, your eyes had red in them from popped blood vessels. You let go of the man's shoulder and stepped on his shoulder and pushed it down onto the knife until you couldn't press down anymore. The entire blade was sticking out, as his shoulder was slightly being torn apart, the handle of the knife was the only part in the man. He was to stunned by the pain in his shoulder to notice your foot come down, this time a knife didn't stab your foot. You stomped and stomped and stomped on the man's head even after his head collapsed on itself. You didn't stop crashing the man's head in until you felt as though you were done. His skull was crashed, his eyes popped and brain caved in, his teeth fell at the back of his throat as it got smashed into the earth below. You crashed his head like a balloon, it popped and blood went everywhere, the surrounding around was covered in blood, in beaten organs, and hungry insects. When you finally stepped away from the body you limped over to the others not daring to look back at the mess you've made. As the bugs start to eat the man enjoying the fresh and large meal, the others couldn't look you in the eye.

"Shall we get going then?"

You asked with a slight smile as you patted Price's shoulder and Alejandro's back you continued on. You four met up with the snipers who were confused. They couldn't see what was happening since the trees and the other three were covering it, Ghost could kinda see what happened since he was higher up then the other two but still didn't really know. So seeing your cover head to toe in someone else blood, a shaky and wide eyed Price, Alejandro covered in his own puked and Rudy holding Alejandro up, being his own source of strength currently. They were confused, very confused.

"Oh my, what happened?!"

Gaz was very worried and alittle scared, hes never seen his Captain so scared before. Soap could only stare at the people who he thought could never be scared. And Ghost was quiet, he knew you did something, not necessarily to them but infront of them, he knew it was because of you.

"Don't worry about it, we all got a helicopter to catch don't we?"

You said with a slight laugh before limping past them to the helicopter lending zone. The snipers were left confused but either way everyone got to the helicopter on time and went back to the base. Meanwhile Graves was staring at a black screen stunned, quite, as white as a ghost. He couldn't believe what he just seen. No, he refused to believe what he seen. It was from that point on no one who was a witness to what you did could look at you without removing that day, you had scared the Captian shitless and was seen as, The fate worse than death.
