am i the only one strangely fond of these two bonding?

i just didn’t expect them to interact but it makes so much sense?

they are both two brilliant, talented guys. one coming from a place of wealth and opportunities, the other familiar with death and destruction only. two sides of the same coin.

also, i kind of want someone more mature to be there for ekko.

both him and powder lost everyone when they were children. but while she had silco before (not a good father figure but still one) and now sevika, ekko had nobody.

he had to grow up fast and learn how to live on his own. he turned out into a good, strong, clever boy. he is a leader and a defender and he’s more than capable of taking care of himself by now.

but he is in fact so young still. his father figure died when he was just a kid and no one ever filled that hole.

so, to have jayce interact with him, sharing his knowledge with him and being humbled by ekko, who shows him the brutal reality the people from zaun are forced to live in is kind of heartwarming.

i don’t know, i am just a softie when it comes to mentor/mentee-father/son-older brother/younger brother dynamics and i’ll hold tightly onto every little moment lmao.

can’t wait to see more of these two :”)

Self-doubt

After shifting different interests as of late, I can now confirm that I forgot how to draw Buzz and Woody and I must apologize 😔

I still have the passion of showing more stuff, including that lil animation I did of them hehe.

One of the main reasons are you who still is liking and or reblogging my work, which just motivates me to one day finish them and I’m very grateful for that ❤️

Toy Story 3 Scene Symmetry

Looking through the contrasting rejected/accepted handshake scenes in Toy Story 3 made me realize there were more parallels than just Buzz offering his hand to Woody. Observe how in the earlier scene in the movie, Woody walks away (while everyone else is still), stops when he doesn't hear Buzz following, and turns his head to look in his direction.

Then later, during the incinerator scene, Woody does nearly the same thing: he crawls (while everyone else is still), stops when he notices Buzz/everyone aren't moving, and turns his head to look in Buzz's direction, both times in confusion/surprise.

In the Sunnyside scene, Buzz is the only one to move and does so to offer his hand. In the incinerator scene, Buzz is the only one to move to offer his hand. But also pay attention to which toys are behind him in each scene.

(Granted, Bullseye is farther back in the first scene, but he's still in the shot and beside Jessie even if only in the background. Also note that Buzz looks solemn both times he offers his hand.)

Maybe this is just me looking too closely at it lol But even if unintended, it's cool how all the little details lined up.

I will never ever ever ever EVER be over Character A barely surviving something and Character B being so overcome with relief they just have to clutch A and bury their face in A's neck while A tells them it's okay.

prideyear concept uhhh. buzz and woody very obviously liking each other and are like on the very edge of being in a relationship but woody is terrified of making it any more official because he could lose buzz the same way he lost bo. ok bye.

Woody would definitely have abandonment issues after bo, he’s too scared to lose buzz
