A tip for excellent writing I just learned: Don't introduce a character with their Dramatic Backstory. It makes readers go "oh alright this is the Dramatic Background Story Character" and establishes a baseline of Tragic, either for the story as a whole or this character in particular. With no contrast of light and dark, pure darkness isn't impactful, it just looks like the absence of anything to look at.
If you really want someone's dramatic backstory to hit the audience like a gut punch, let them get to know the character first. That way the dark backstory doesn't come off as a description of who they are, but an explanation to why they are the way they are. Bonus points for connecting it to something that's already been established as a part of the character - what a devastating blow to suddenly put together that hold on, that funny quirky thing that they always do is a fucking trauma response.
homunculous son or unkillable elder god daughter
Saw this post, guess who has a book they want to talk about!?
Please, I beg of you tumblr people to send me questions about the Drowned Woods and let me Rant about how I hate Romance books!
no you have to contribute to your fandom if you don't want it to die. most fandoms die because people say 'it's so sad watching the fandom die when the hype dies' without doing anything about it. I'm not saying you have to push out 100k word slow-burn fic, I'm not saying you have to make fan art or gif sets or edits or anything. I'm just saying we as a community should contribute to our fandom if we don't want it to die, and by contributing, I'm talking about giving kudos, commenting on your favorite fics, reblogging your favorite art and just talking about your favorite characters. that's enough to keep a fandom alive. that's the most effective way to keep a fandom alive in my humble opinion.
fandoms die because people stop talking about it, fandoms die because people stop engaging with fan content once the hype is gone. what I'm saying is, mainstream media's hype may be gone, but our fandom can stay alive and thriving if us as a community don't let it die.
Over thinking: part one
Technically speaking, if human start out as an egg, we hatch inside of a mother and then be birth. Humans could technically be reptiles and we would never know, like a scale less one-

So my friend group is filled with members of the LGBTQ plus community, so I’m making everyone their own pride flag keychain! And I think they’re adorable!!

Jason needs to have some stupid ass allergy. Idk. Something like apple allergy
Only saw the OG post at the beginning and felt kinda bad because I (personally) don’t feel any dysphoria, but feel significantly more confident and happy when presented with a more masc look.
But then I read the long list of rebogs and felt immediately better, so thank you trans side of tumblr!
Being trans is not special or fun.
You need dysphoria to be trans.
Being cisgender is great.
Being trans is not your aesthetic.
Truscum/transmeds are the only ones who really care about trans people.
Hopefully, people like Skye are still a minority. If you have gender dysphoria, I hope you will be alright. You can always talk to me if you feel bad
Also, sorry for my English mistakes
