Choco Cherry Fact #3
The castle is actually built above her witchy workshop. She asked her Sugar gnomes to build it so no one would see her workshop.
Bonus fact: Her body is actually well preserved in a glass coffin (adding parallel to White Lily cookie) inside the workshop and there is a powerful protection spell so there would be no harm to her body. Also there is also a strong spell and sigil that protects the workshop or "dungeon" door. Only certain cookies like Black Sapphire cookie are given a "mark" to go down there unless given permission by Choco Cherry Cookie.
hehe two witches hanging out @catxolotlquoise
So, I've been pulled into the Cookie run kingdom train. This is Choco Cherry Cookie. Here's some lore about her: She was the Witch of Devotion before changing herself into a cookie. She was in the silver witch coven (the group of witches who sealed the Beasts) and she was task to watch over the cookies of Beast Yeast when she was a mere apprentice. She was told to never interact with the cookies but seeing a group of cookies almost falling into a chasm, she saved them. This led to many times of her interacting/helping the cookies. However, the Beasts (the virtues at the time) hearing of this "gentle giant" being spotted on the highest peaks of the mountains. The five journeyed up the mountains and found the Witch of Devotion there. This leads her and the Virtues/Beasts befriending her and came to her for advice. She became more and more devoted to the Virtues/Beasts and the cookies of Beast Yeast. However, her ailment became more and more of a trouble to her. The Beasts/Virtues would notice but the witch of Devotion would tell them that she's okay (she's not guys). So, she decided to go to her workshop (in Crispia where the kingdom is) and worked her heart out to stay with the cookies she loved so dearly. She was able to put herself in a comatose like state in her workshop and transfer her mind into cookie bodies. However, her coven found out of this and used the "charm" (which is the crown) to seal her within her castle for years because she "betrayed" the coven. After a long time of loneliness, she created the sugar gnomes to keep her company and to tend to the land. (She couldn't do it herself because she couldn't leave the castle grounds) Then Gingerbrave and gang lost the crown, and she was free from her imprisonment but fearful that the cookies of her "newfound kingdom" would fear her. She kept herself hidden but she tended to the needs of the cookies as a thank you for freeing her. But she wasn't/isn't aware of the Virtues/Beasts becoming Beasts and them being sealed or the now recent Ancients existing. I'd thought I'd write it down before I forget. She finds out later tho
Choco Cherry Fact #7
I guess not really a fact. I associate the song "Secret mission" with Choco Cherry cookie. So this is based on my experience. When I changed the kingdom music to it because @doostyaudi told me you could change the music and I didn't know. And when I did, all of my cookies talked at once. That scared me so bad and how eerie it was. It inspired fact #1 of her having an uncanny aura.
Choco Cherry Fact #9
While she was trapped in the castle. She develops a love for baking and cooking (hence her apron) and she would often read books in her library or in her workshop.
Anyone can use these :D! If you do use them then I'd love to see what you do with them. From what I can tell in magic, some rituals are tied to a certain moon. So, I thought of some moon hcs and what they could possibly mean magic wise. The moons i'm theming around how the cookies would name them. I'll break down the meanings first before I explain my headcanons. Silver Spoon Moon (Silver Moon): Silver is known for purity and clarity (like how Silver is seen as a pure metal in order to kill werewolves for example) but the moon itself represents mystery, growth, change and feminine energy (since some goddesses represent the moon itself like Athena). The reason of the name "Silver Spoon" is because how the Faerie kingdom have silver utensils as their weapons and architecture (seen in decor section of the kingdom) and the saying "been born with a silver spoon in their mouth" which represents wealth. So, I imagine rituals during a "Silver Spoon Moon", it helps concentrate on their magic (their "wealth") and helps the witch receive clarity ("Like if they see the visions of the future, the visions would be clearer"). Perhaps there are even rituals that help cleanse purify and enhance their magic. Think of it as "Spring cleaning" of their magic. Jam Moon (Blood Moon): Blood moons represent the life, death, rebirth and transformation of oneself. I imagine the transformation are more physical. It also represents darker magics. For CRK, this would be a moon that could help a witch help with transformation or strength darker magics. I imagine becoming a cookie or transferring your consciousness into a cookie body would be more ideal to happen on a Jam moon. The strength of the moon would easily help bring cookies or other desserts to life. It would amplify the magic itself leading to more success. Bleu Cheese Moon (Blue Moon): Blue moons themselves represent more of wisdom, intuition, empathy and spiritual transformation and growth (unlike Jam/Blood Moons which represent the physical changes). This moon I feel would help a witch if they are more emotionally in tune with their magic. Like if their magic is reflected upon their emotions. Or even gather wisdom and reflect (A moon fitting for prophets/future sight). Also, the abundance and manifestation of magic is much stronger. (While the Silver Spoon moon helps more with enhancing the magic they have, the Bleu Cheese Moon could help the witch gather more magic than they have had before.)
Spice Moon (Harvest Moon): (I know the Harvest festival is in game, but I also imagine that the Harvest moon in some cultures like the Spicelands call it the "Spice Moon" due to it being orange like the spice sands) The Harvest moon is known for balance of the spiritual and physical worlds, revealing truths and abundance. I imagine if a witch wishes to speak to a cookie without becoming a cookie themselves, then this is the moon to do it. The rift between Earthbread and the Witch world are a lot thinner which allows for communication between the two parties easily. This is also as well speaking with spirits of the Cookie world. In the Spicelands, I imagine they are able to speak/hear their ancestors much more clearly or just talking with ghosts in general. Sugar Moon (Pink/Strawberry/Super Flower Moon): This moon represents rebirth and renewal but also love, fertility, hope and harmony. If a witch wishes to cleanse their magic and energies, then this is another perfect moon to do so! This moon also helps with "love" magic. This could mean help with self-love or just normal types of love in general. Though another magic that thrives under this moon is fertility. Plant and nature magic flourish during this time. It's much stronger during this moon. I also imagine the sweetness of sugar and foods grown during this time are much more delicious.
Black Salt Moon (Black Moon): This moon would represent ice magic (due to it happening more commonly in the winter season), but also the introspective and renewal. This Moon would be used as a day of meditation. But also (inspired by the smoke of Smoked Cheese cookie and my friend's Silent Salt Hcs @doostyaudi) the mind is more easily manipulated. Illusions, shadow work and mind control like magic thrive during this time. However just because the mind can easily be more manipulated, in turn it also strengths it! Creativity and wonder also thrive during this time. If the witch wishes to create new spells never seen before, this would be the time to experiment! This was inspired by @fishymom-art witch comic and how they explained now those witches have to wait years for the moon to appear in order to not be cookies. Please go check them and @doostyaudi they're really cool and talented peeps.
Choco Cherry Fact #5 and #6
Since her eyes are covered by her chocolate wool. When she's stressed, her wool bubbles. When she's sad, it drips downwards. And when she's mad, it bubbles and boils.
Speaking of eyes, she can create floating eyes (similar to Smc) to watch over the kingdom. She tries to hide them so other cookies don't see. When she communicates with Black Sapphire cookie, she talks through his microphone but the microphone HATES it. The transmissions often make the microphone cough a lot (reference to the idle animation that Black Sapphire cookie has)
Bonus fact: The lil flying gems in Black Sapphire cookie's idle are named Spiffy, Shimmer and Shine. Black Sapphire calls them his "staff members". He also lets them stay with Choco Cherry Cookie so she doesn't get too lonely in the castle while he's away. Black Sapphire cookie also makes rumors so cookies won't go into the castle to keep Choco Cherry's secret safe.
Also Black Sapphire cookie and Choco Cherry's relationship is platonic.
