Okay, we all want more Klaus/Dave, but what a brilliant fucking way to write a relationship that embeds itself into your mind in just a handful of minutes.
Because you only every really see the relationship through the lens of how its loss destroys Klaus. We get to see a few flashbacks of good moments between them, but the majority of time we spend with the Klaus/Dave relationship is in the moments when Klaus is just pinning for what he lost. They took a guy who’s been doing drugs since his teens and made him say “I’ll stop for him”. They took a man who generally tries to turn everything into a joke or a snarky comment and made him ball up in the fetal position in the middle of the sidewalk in tears and agony. They took a guy who usually avoids confrontations and made him take on a bar full of veterans just for trying to get between him and a picture of Dave.
That is top notch writing to use the loss of a relationship you never really saw much of to impress just how real the relationship was, all by focusing on how you saw Klaus transformed by the loss of it.

I made a thing, I thought Ben should get one too. P.S I know Justin is not in costume but it was the best I could do. I did orange because we have all the colors in the rainbow except orange with the other siblings.
