Today astrology refers to the observation of human behavior in relation to the stars and planets. But for most of European history, it also included the science we now call astronomy. Astrology was in turn closely tied to alchemy, a millennia-old blend of science and spirituality that sought to unlock the secrets of creation. 

In antiquity, seven planets were known—the sun, the moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. The physical world, meanwhile, was composed of four elements, while the heavens included the “fifth element,” quintessentia. In the alchemical-astrological worldview, the seven planets were tied to the seven known metals—gold, silver, quicksilver (mercury), copper, iron, tin, and lead. In astrology, each sign is also tied to one of the four elements.  

We asked 21st-century astrologist Rose Theodora to explain how each of the signs maps to the planets, metals, and elements:  

Aries is ruled by the planet Mars and is associated with the metal iron and the element fire. Mars represents one’s instinctive physical response and determines a person’s energy level. 

Taurus is ruled by the planet Venus and is associated with the metal copper and the element earth. Venus describes one’s aesthetic preferences. 

Gemini is ruled by the planet Mercury and is associated with the metal mercury and the element air. Mercury denotes a person’s mental fluidity and communication skills. 

Cancer is ruled by the planet of the Moon and is associated with the metal silver and the element water. The Moon determines our emotional and habitual nature. 

Leo is ruled by the planet of the Sun and is associated with the metal gold and the element fire. The Sun signifies our life path and identity. 

Virgo is ruled by the planet Mercury and is associated with the metal mercury and the element earth. Mercury denotes a person’s mental fluidity and communication skills.  

Libra is ruled by the planet Venus and is associated with the metal copper and the element air. Venus describes one’s aesthetic preferences.   

Scorpio is ruled by the planet Mars and is associated with the metal iron and the element water. Mars represents one’s instinctive physical response and determines a person’s energy level. 

Sagittarius is ruled by the planet Jupiter and is associated with the metal tin and the element fire. Jupiter is associated with one’s innate gifts, intelligence, and luck. 

Capricorn is ruled by the planet Saturn and is associated with the metal lead and the element earth. Saturn is associated with a person’s karmic life path, on which they must work methodically to overcome obstacles. 

Aquarius is ruled by the planet Saturn and is associated with the metal lead and the element air. Saturn is associated with a person’s karmic life path, on which they must work methodically to overcome obstacles. 

Pisces is ruled by the planet Jupiter and is associated with the metal tin and the element water. Jupiter is associated with one’s innate gifts, intelligence, and luck. 

“In our quest for innate oneness,” Rose tells us, “we are similar to the alchemist. It is through the astrologer’s lens that we can learn how to uniquely express each element within our own divine nature.”

Mermaid Dust!

Hi people! Tonight i bring to you this little DIY for getting beautiful Mermaid Dust done!

💙Mermaid Dust correspondences are:

As is strongly related to water, is useful for emotions, relationships, healing, psychic abilities, exorcism and purification. It can be used for love, luck and protection too! Also, it works perfectly fine as an extra boost for any spell.

💙This is how you make it:

✨ You’ll need sugar (love, luck, healing, purification), mint (exorcism, protection, healing), eggshell powder (protection) and glitter on the color of your choice (for making it more “personal” to you. I use turquoise.) and crystals of your choice (optional)

~I recommend aquamarine, sodalite, emerald, citrine, pink quartz, amethyst, green quartz, tourmaline, hematite and/or clear quartz.

✨The amount of each thing i use is approximately the following, but you can use as much as you want and give it your own texture!

~¾ Sugar.

~2/4 Eggshell powder.

~2/4 Mint.

~¼ Glitter.

✨Then, put it all together and stir to mix it!

✨Once that you have something like this, put it on a jar or any type of container that you prefer, and use some crystals to charge it!

✨Here i’m using two pieces of aquamarine, one sodalite, two tourmaline, one pink quartz and one citrine.

✨Now, here comes something important. I leave it for a whole lunar cycle, from full moon ‘till the next one (or you can do it from the very start of the cycle, on new moon, ‘till the next new moon, choose based on your correspondences of which type of moon energy you want the dust to keep), on a closed wooden box with amethyst and clear quartz, so it can be properly charged. Another good idea is that, on a full moon night, you leave it outside surrounded by the gems you want it to be charged with.

✨At the end of the cycle, you can say a little chant of your choice when taking the dust out of the box or taking it inside home again or out of the windowsill… you understand my point lol.

💙Extra: As this is not safe to eat. If you want to make some eatable mermaid dust, i recommend using colored sugar (you can easily make it with white sugar and food colorant). Put it in some container, then put that inside your container with mermaid dust or surround your sugar container with a circle of mermaid dust (be careful not to mix it!) and leave it for a night, preferably on full moon. Next day you’ll have some dealicious mermaid sugar/dust for any healing spell, love spell, or any type you want to do!

You can make as much as you want of this, and is useful for almost everything! i really like it ♥

💖 Setting aside clean bath water, a towel, and a bit of soap for your gods to use for Themselves as you bathe yourself. 💖 Giving the first bite of your meal to a god or goddess. (In Hellenismos, Hestia received the first and sometimes last bite, which you burn/dispose of and do not ingest.) 💖 Dedicate tasks to certain deities. For example, weaving for Athena, travelling to a new place to Hermes, and cleaning up a memorial of your loved one to Haides. 💖 Clean up your altar or shrine space if you have one and make a small offering. 💖 Light a candle or incense in Their honour.

Lesson 2: Basic Energy Manipulation

I’m a manipulator. No, not in that sense. Not with words. But… I DO however manipulate energy! Want to learn how? Good, you’ve come to the right place. If you haven’t read my first lesson, please read that first. It covers a lot of the basic knowledge you should have before starting this current lesson. Just look in my blog, thanks.

Alright, so there are 2 sub-dimensions in the 3rd Dimension, where we are. There is the physical and the energetic. The energetic affects the physical and the physical affects the energetic. They work in tandem but in indiscreet ways. And to manipulate the energetic world you need a lot of oomf. And pizzaz. Wait, fuck that. All you really need is imagination and willpower. The energy around us is manipulated by our imaginations. If we imagine something in front of us and will it into existence, it exists in the energetic world. Pretty damn simple. Right?

Well, wrong. But hey, doubt kills your energy manipulation skill by diminishing your willpower. SO! Please note that when you know something in the energetic world, it is true. Willpower, baby. It’s key NOT to DOUBT yourself whatsoever. Otherwise your subconscious will make things go haywire and we REALLY do NOT want that. Trust me. Now, onto a few vocabulary words…

- Construct = Whatever in God’s name you create with your satanic energy manipulation witchcraft shit. Like those blasted energy balls (psi-balls), or your run-of-the-mill butterfly thing you imagined up into existence. Or maybe one of your high-falootin’ shields. Who the hell knows.

- Element = One of those-them-there properties able to be applied to your base energy. Every being on planet earth and beyond has a primary element, or two, or three, or something like that. Basically, they are what you yourself produce naturally, and are what you are most proficient in. For example, I’m water and void and darkness with a little electricity. Again, pretty simple.

- Program/Programming = To make a construct do something or give it purpose. For all those nerds out there like myself. And maybe even you since you’re learning this stuff.

So, now, a basic construct I want each and every one of you to make is, yes, you guessed it, a psiball! Ooh so magical! Well not really, but it’s pretty damn awesome for the first time. So, here are the instructions:

1. Cup those hands, yeaaahhh baby! Just like you’re holding a ball! OH YEAH SCOOREEEE! But really, just put your hands together like you’re holding a ball or something round.

2. Imagine a sphere or a glowing ball of sorts between your hands. I’m not gonna get too specific, but just something round because nobody really gives a fuck whose balls you touch. WAIT WHAT. I mean, uhh, just something… Ballsy? SPHERICAL. THERE WE GO.

3. Will it into existence. Know it exists. Don’t doubt yourself. Gonna be serious on this one, which is rare I know, but it’s crucial NEVER to doubt yourself in energy work. But also don’t get confident. The right mindset is a one of just knowing and exerting your will. I hope that makes sense.

4. Try slightly pushing your hands together and away from each other (very slightly). Feel some resistance? Yep. That’s the psiball in action. Congrats. But don’t get cocky now. Anyone can create a ball of energy. Except maybe a toad. BUT HEY! You’re better than a toad at this. Oh, that doesn’t mean much, does it? Oh well.

5. Now, for the final touch, play around with it. Make it do certain things and get a feel for it. No, no, don’t cock a feel. Geez, pervert. That poor kind little innocent psiball! Kidding, but seriously, see how creative you can get with it. Apply different properties. Change it. Make it into something else. The potential is limited only to your imagination and willpower. Hell, give it commands and control it. It’s all up to you.

Okay now you’re making me jealous. I’m probably not even half as good as you. Not even close. Good job nonetheless. Humph. *crosses my arms and pouts*
