While I still enjoy Warrior Cats, people praising it as one of the "best book series for children" ever written is kindaaaa a stretch to me. One of the first books literally kills a disabled kid for shock value. There's also the uncomfortable amount of incest/misoginy/racism that just worsens as the series progresses. Is WC irredeemable? Of course not, far from it. I just think that there are other series that are more deserving of that title, and WC aint one of them.

warriors yes cat rambling but it’s a classic it offers children to get into a world that has a culture of building off what exists and i think that’s super cool that and wings of fire they’re just such large worlds with so many options so yes the source material is pretty problematic occasionally and pretty mid other times buttttt i think it still has something to offer for those who are in

Drawing of graywing. He’s such an nice guy one of my favourite characters. In my opinion he has one of the best story arcs out of the whole series.

Warrior cats brainrot is infecting me for the first time in years. I haven’t actually read it since DotC arc 🥴 are the current books any good? Is it worth picking up again?
