Still it's something dante nu carnival nu carnival dante nukani kuya metabox fivesposting nu carnival kuya there’s a small joke comic in one of the artbooks that gives me thoughts but the gems depicted there are props so (shrugs) also noting that there’s ~something~ going on with kuyas sight since he cant see the lenticular print on the back of his novelty card set but that could be a fox thing iris only has the potential to be horrifically uncomfortable though i guess in general it is not ideal having gem lodged anywhere on your body i do have dante ~temperature~ metaphor thoughts about his gem eye feeling cold in his skull on the kuya side: him having a foreign object lodged in an intimate place like his eye forever and remembering a time before he forever had a chunk of huey literally inside him forever in comparison i feel like quincy is probably chilling though it can’t be super comfortable to have a chunk of gem weighing on the back of his hand fun thing with quincy and edmond having the backs of their hands replaced with something that isnt theirs the stuff there with ‘knowing [x] like the back of your hand’ is fun but pretty weak in terms of actual character weight for me fun is fun oh the invasiveness of having some guys lifegunk crystallized on your body forever
