this year while we all celebrate pride month and celebrate ourselves as well as those who came before us and paved the way for us to do so, we must also think of those in gaza, queer or not, who live every day under a brutal occupation and don’t have that same privilege. happy pride, and may we see a free palestine in this lifetime.

I genuinely think there was no greater insight into the modern Christian mindset than when the Pope said he very much hoped Hell was empty and he was absolutely hounded by both Catholics and Protestants outraged at the idea of a man who wanted a place of infinite suffering to have nobody in it.

Unpopular Opinion: I do not want Arthur and John to be canon gay.

While I absolutely enjoy the love and romance and sexy fanfics of them, and actively seek them out, and talk all the time about how gay they are, I do not want them to be a homosexual couple.

I like that Harlan stated they will not be romantically involved. I love how that's essentially established they are queer platonic partners. They are not friends. They are not lovers. They are something altogether different but just as powerfully connected.

I think there is a devastating lack of aromantic and asexual relationships in all media, and this, what Arthur and John have, is so pure, so concentrated, and just as powerful, it makes me want to rip my skin off and cry tears of unfathomable joy.

okay i want to test a theory.

clarification: your current life stays the same, but the fears are now real and you know about them. now you could actively try to became an avatar or just happily embrace all the supernatural stuff that comes your way, both of these fall under the "yes" option. Or you could try not to be claimed by a fear. The entity you're aligned with might find you, or you could also ward off an entity by becoming the avatar of a different entity - so you can more or less choose a fear. But really, don't overthink this, just pick an answer intuitively. That's why i didn't put an "other/elaborate in tags" option: i just want to see generally who would like to be an avatar and who wouldn't. (but ofc you can still elaborate in the tags if you want)
