God i miss 2014 fandom era tumblr. Life was so shit but i read so many books and watched so many shows and fell in love with so many characters. I would stay awake at night listening to music and imagining love scenes or fight scenes or recreating whole novels with me as the main character, and I know we look back at that time and think it's cringe, but it was an escape from reality that I desperately needed back then, and I havent been able to recreate that since.

the internet is so cursed, when people look back on the history of covid-19 it's going to look so different from the history of the plague because we will have left a trace of quarantine playlists all featuring toxic by brittany spears
