żabka (froggy) is the name of an extremely popular corner shop chain in Poland, it's literally everywhere

My translation is not always literal but sometimes vibes based, like in PL version Sanji doesn't use "jesus" in the second page, but the expression "ja pierdole" doesn't have an english equivalent that would make sense in this contex, literally it means "I fuck" lmao

I now see I mixed up prepositions when Sanji asks Luffy for the sauces, uh oh ANYWAY

I also didn't translate the cans Zoro brings at the end, the writing on the cans says "potwór" which means "monster", so yup these are basically monster energy drinks but translated literally hence the capitalized P as the logo. Why does he drink that instead of some Polish ass beer? Good question, I just enjoy calling them drinks Potwór, and dont know much about beer

so just in case we’re keeping score. fitz defies chade when he tries to separate him from the fool by literally spending multiple nights in his tent, nearly launches himself at bresinga to defend the fool’s honor, goes back to bury the fool, bridal carries his broken and beaten body across the halls of his enemy all the while refusing to put his dead body down, calls the fool his dream, returns the cultural tradition of calling him by his own name, procrastinates burning him, starts sincerely addressing him as beloved with absolutely no more qualms and gets lowkey offended when the fool requests him not to, sincerely considers taking the Pale Woman’s head and bringing it to the fool to enact vengeance on his behalf, declares he’ll take his death then physically enters his decaying corpse and brings him back to life, shields his eyes from the sun, kisses his forehead, lovingly nurses him back to health, misses him ‘even in his presence’, unapologetically cradles him all night like a child like a lover like his own self wounded and alone—

Sometimes you're at con hauling ass to the nearest coffee shop books in hand after spending too long getting the wigs on thinking you're going to end up being late for your favorite author's book signing (but coffee is so absolutely necessary) AND its raining

So yeah, we got an even more special interaction, book signing and got to say hi to the fam too including Kat!

I'm scrolling through Marineford again to gather references and this is the first time I'm actually noticing this dialogue:

(Chapter 568)

"Do you have grandkids, are they happy?"

And Garp says "His name is Luffy, I think?"

Is this just a vague translation or a misplaced punctuation mark? Because like this it makes it sounds like Garp knows about his grandchild, but he is not sure what his name is and is not the one raising him.

He can't answer if Luffy is happy, but he is "being raised well." Whatever that might mean in Garp's books. Luffy must still be very young here considering Ace is maybe... 5ish? This is probably within this period of life Luffy wouldn't remember. A period of time where Dragon (with or without Luffy's other parent) might have been taking care of him until something happened that made Dragon give Luffy up?

Not all of them were abandoned by individual people like family members and their community, but the government. Specifically Franky and Law.

Vivi was gonna be in there too but i couldnt,,,, really,,,,, fit her in there.
