Everyone knows how gentle zoro is with kids and small animals, so when a devil fruit user hits sanji and turns him into a kid it comes as no surprise that zoro makes it his mission to keep him happy and safe

Zoro sees how wary sanji is of his swords, so he keeps them out of his sight

He sees how sanji's always taking peeks at the galley, so he picks him up and takes him into the kitchen, leaning over the counters so sanji can observe all the appliances with shining eyes

He carries sanji around the market on the next town they dock at, listening to the little blond blabbering about all sorts of ingredients he wants to see and possibly buy?

Sanji looks at zoro with big, pleading eyes when he asks that and it's not like zoro was planning to say no, but now it's downright impossible for him to deny the kid anything

At night, sanji shyly climbs up zoro's bed and zoro suppresses a smile as he pulls him closer and tucks him against his side, covering the both of them with a blanket

Hours later, in the middle of the night, sanji wakes up in a cold sweat, shaken up by a nightmare, and zoro wraps him in his arms more tightly, runs a gentle hand over his back, and sanji goes back to sleep almost instantly

When sanji returns to normal they don't talk about it, but if sanji's blushing face as he steals glances at zoro and zoro's soft smile in response are any indication, they know their relationship has changed, and changed for the better

wow.... i cant believe they were abandoned and Luffy collected them like treasures.....

the rest of the strawhats/friends that were gonna be in this post but i decided against it

Not all of them were abandoned by individual people like family members and their community, but the government. Specifically Franky and Law.

Vivi was gonna be in there too but i couldnt,,,, really,,,,, fit her in there.

Thinking about how FitzChivalry gets asked by two of his children about the nature of his relationship with the Fool and both times gives them an answer that only raises more questions

Like Dutiful corners him all, “Are you sleeping with Lord Golden? This is challenging to my homophobia” and Fitz tells him “we’re very close. But nothing weird is happening. I am not taking further questions at this time”

And then years later Nettle is like, “I heard some rumors about you and this Lord Golden guy…?” And Fitz tells her “I loved that man like I have loved no other.” And then I like to imagine that he takes a pause, just a little pause, mind you, but it’s the kind of pause that seems vastly longer than it is because really, there shouldn’t be any pause there at all. And Fitz continues, “I am not saying I loved him MORE than your mother but it was different. I Am Not Taking Further Questions At This Time.”

Do you think that the Skillmistress and the King, secret cousins and even more secret half siblings, ever got together at Buckkeep with a bottle of brandy and were like “so what is going on THERE??” Did they lock eyes over Fitz’s Wolf-Dragon as Fitz and the Fool merged and became one, and knew that whatever the FUCK Fitz had going on with that guy was far weirder and far, far more queer than they could ever understand? Did they ever talk about it or did they bury those questions deep down in true Fitz fashion and move on with their lives like “yes, our youngest sibling has two fathers, literally. I Am Not Taking Further Questions At This Time”
