I think Xavier can only see Maddie’s dad because of him being dead and seeing him and his connection to Maddie. The reason Xavier didn’t see her dad when he recovered is simply because he wasn’t around then.
Just finished S2 of School Spirits! I have so many questions!
What the heck happened to Simon? And is it connected to the school glowing red that night? Is Simon dead and the entire school is seemingly his scar due to all the trauma with Maddie's disappearance/'death'?
Did Wally actually cross over, or is it a misdirect by the show, and he simply 'closed' the door like Janet did to indicate that he still had unfinished business (for example, Maddie)? Or are the exit doors not really the end (bit of a stretch but could happen considering the school is acting weird.)
Also, not a question can we just appreciate the (two!) Maddie and Wally goodbye scenes that ripped my heart in two (especially the first - as soon as I spotted Wally trying not to cry, I was a mess). Plus, the vision of her in the red dress in Wally's scar??
Final question, but why is Xavier seeing ghosts again? More importantly, Maddie's dad? It was established that he could only see the ghosts in the hospital during his flatline, but once he recovered, he couldn't see them anymore. So, in theory, he shouldn't be seeing any ghosts at all, unless something otherworldly happened to Xavier at the school that night, or he's actually dead, and a ghost (but Nicole and Claire could talk to him, so that's a stretch too), or someone stole his body (although I can't think of who that could be).
In conclusion, I love School Spirits so much (couldn't you tell?), as someone who loves media that intertwine ghosts etc. with real life problems/issues, and good old murder mysteries with twists, and I need people to talk about this with! 👏💖
Plus, now I can finally look at the School Spirits tag on here 😂💖
I’m so looking forward to a Mr Anderson redemption arc. I want Maddie to be able to trust him again.
Okay so Mr. Anderson was the most obvious and expected character for Mr. Martin to choose. I can't say I'm mad the writing took the most obvious route, because honestly it's the best. The dead kids lost the only adult they had. They're still teens and need guidance. The one person they trusted most betrayed them. Whether or not he gets his body back, he's going to leave a meaningful positive mark on everyone.
They know who’s really watching
The Dragon Prince s6 decided to reference every piece of fantasy media in existence, I see. Which is funny considering its target audience is too young to know most of these
the best thing about Runaan coming back is that, no matter who he interacts with, there is drama. Rayla? he tried to kill her. Callum? he killed his step-dad. Ezran? he tried to kill him and he killed his dad. Ethari? they haven't seen each other in two years, Runaan tried to kill their daughter, Ethari banished their daughter. there is no escape.
He’s gonna dad them so hard and Maddie’s gonna be so relieved she can still trust him.
Mr. Anderson giving Wally a hug too confirms, at least to me, that he’s going to love and cherish and parent all of the ghost kids so much, and I hope Mr. Martin has a jealous fit about it
rip quinn you would've loved school spirits
i feel really bad for pre-death janet and wanna protect her with everything i have, but the longer she stays in maddie's body, the more against her i am
Everybody keeps being like excited to see Callum trying to win Runaan over and meanwhile I’m just like
I want to see Runaan meet Ezran.
This is a child he signed up to help kill two years ago, and I imagine assassin man is going to have to go through an “oh shit, this kid is like. a really good kid. and if i had killed him peace between katolis and xadia probably never would have happened.” and try to figure out how to apologize.
And meanwhile Ezran is going to have to figure out if his “everyone deserves a chance to choose a different path” philosophy extends to the man who killed his father.
While his home is literally in ashes from Sol Regem’s attack.
Like yes I want to watch Callum be a dork around his girlfriend’s dad, but tbh I’m more curious about how they’re going to handle the reality that Runaan very much did kill Harrow. Like that is definitely a thing he did.
Once had to write I 500 word essay. But I hated the topic so much I made a 1000 word essay talking shit about it. I got an A :).
im still losing it over the "how did high schoolers write 600 word essays before chatgpt" post. 600 words. that is nothing. that is so few words what do you mean you can't write 600 words. 600 words. this post right here is 45 words.
