I'm of the opinion that both candidates should have been disqualified for different reasons on each. (That said, Biden is absolutely better than trump if just because he's less likely to try and abolish our civil rights.) On Trump's side there's literally all of the crime. He's been impeached twice, has connections to a failed insurrection, and is now a convicted felon. He should be disqualified hands down. On the Biden side, putting aside age or mental wellness (cause those are touchy issues and I don't know how I feel there), honestly I don't think former vice presidents or immediate family members of former presidents should be allowed to run for president.
Now... all of that aside what we really need is Ranked Choice Voting and the abolition of the Electoral College. I think those two things would cause a significant positive change in US Politics
We're all fucked.
I just watched Identiteaze on Nebula with my partner @zatartheperfect-blog and holy shit was it good. Big gender feels, I loved every minute of it. If you're trans, intersex, or plural and haven't seen it you absolutely should. Big feels yo. My one "Criticism" is that I want more time in this world, but with the stinger at the end I get the distinct impression that this is only the first part in a larger project.
I have fairy lights set up around my room that tinkle a lovely blue color while I sleep. It's delightful
hope is a skill
This is why it’s so important for parents to support their trans kids.

there's a weird misconception amongst some people that the problem with our society is that it's hedonistic and materialist. it's the opposite... nobody is having any fun and almost nobody owns anything
person who posted this originally made it unrebloggable so fuck you it’s mine now
listen I know that you love your robot boyfriend and I'm sure that he's great but his disregard for aftercare is raising some serious red flags for me
@theresattrpgforthat my wife and I are going to be presenting at a conference this month about the intersection of roleplaying games and social/political imagination - do you have any recs for games we should look into that we may have missed?
So thinking about NaNoWriMo stuff, I think I know what I want to write.
I'm going to write a novel about a girl with a very silly name (Jane Dogfood) who starts a mess of a podcast where she interviews the people around her about their life experiences and discovers who she is as she explores how she does/doesn't relate to the people she interviews.
While it is a coming of age story, a lot of focus will be developing these characters and exploring their life experiences, possibly in a "story within a story" sort of way
