BnHA Chapter 318: On Your Left

Previously on BnHA: The Hawksquad+Lurkers were all “well this sucks” and sat around a bit talking about how maybe they should actually come up with a new plan that is actually good, but then in the end they were like “nah.” Deku was all, “THERE’S SOMETHING INSIDE ME THAT PULLS BENEATH THE SURFACE!! CONSUMING, CONFUSING!! THIS LACK OF SELF CONTROL I FEAR IS NEVERENDING. IT’S HAUNTING HOW I CANT SEEM TO FIND MYSELF AGAIN. MY WALLS ARE CLOSING IN.” Just, literally that whole entire song. All Might was all “Deku you should take care of yourself, try eating a thing,” and Deku was all “BYE, ALL MIGHT,” and just LEFT. He left!!! What the fuck!!!

Today on BnHA: Endeavor is all, “maybe if Deku didn’t listen to All Might he’ll listen to me instead.” Deku is all, “[doesn’t listen to Endeavor]” because, well, yeah. The Vestiges are all, “surprisingly, even we are a little concerned – maybe you should get some rest, kid.” Deku is all, “((Ò ‸ Ó)).” The Vestiges are all, “holy shit.” Deku is all, “[wanders the ruined city streets terrifying the populace on account of him looking like Shelob had a baby with one of the Nazgul].” Some shriveled-up puppeteer villain asshole is all, “HORIKOSHI SAID IT’S MY TURN TO ATTACK DEKU TODAY SO I AM GOING TO SUMMON MY FRIGHTENED HELPLESS ATTACK MOB!!” Kacchan is all “WHADDYA MEAN THEY FOUND THE NERD!!! – oh wait, that’s me, I found him. I found the nerd, you guys.” And just in time, too. I was about to owe a whole lot of people a whole lot of dollars.

some people think writers are so eloquent and good with words, but the reality is that we can sit there with our fingers on the keyboard going, “what’s the word for non-sunlight lighting? Like, fake lighting?” and for ten minutes, all our brain will supply is “unofficial”, and we know that’s not the right word, but it’s the only word we can come up with…until finally it’s like our face got smashed into a brick wall and we remember the word we want is “artificial”.

Reunion Fancomic - Page 3 of ~15

I finished editing this page yesterday and I’m very excited!!! The text adds so much to it and editing actually turned out to be more fun than I expected because seeing a page like this come together feels A M A Z I N G. Just doing this comic I am learning SO MUCH about art, about story-telling, about inking. The ride has been awesome and I can’t wait to start on my own comic using the knowledge I’m obtaining currently. Just 2 years ago Berserk got me back from a long lasting art hiatus and I am glad it did. Those 2 years were short but I got back on my skill level I had before the hiatus and even learned so much beyond it. Thanks Miura

I got a very painful headcanon here: So Deku fights class A and Bakugou hasn't taken any concerning damage yet. Deku defeats everyone except Bakugou and decides to walk away. Bakugou flies towards him with his blasts and Deku turns around and just lands a sickening blow to Bakugou's stomach (which shouldn't yet be healed if were taking his shoulder into account as well) and Bakugou just crumples to the ground and 1-A just watches in disbelief.

Bakugou crumples to the ground as Deku looks down in confusion at him and at the class who are staring at him in disbelief. However, he quickly ignores them as he reaches out to Bakugou and starts asking what’s wrong and if he’s okay. He knows Bakugou would have been able to take that kind of hit. He has been able to take it many times. Deku pulls up the shirt of his costume to see that he has a bandage on his stomach— the spot that he hit. Deku then remembers Bakugous sacrifice and starts apologizing like crazy. However, Katsuki isn’t mad as he pulls Deku into a hug
