Black Teens Shouldn’t Have To Worry About Being Killed By Cops.

Black teens shouldn’t have to worry about being killed by cops.

LGBTQ+ teens shouldn’t have to worry about being thrown out or assaulted.

Asian teens shouldn’t have to worry about being attacked or facing xenophobia.

Latino teens shouldn’t have to worry about being told they don’t belong here or having family members deported.

Low-income teens shouldn’t have to worry about how to succeed in a world stacked against them.

Teens shouldn’t have to worry about climate change or school shootings or all the other stuff they do, and underprivileged and minority teens have even more to worry about. Let’s change the world so future generations don’t have to go through this.

‼️SCOTTISH FOLLOWERS‼️ also TW drugs, spiking drinks, injection marks

Ok so THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT, i don’t know how many of you on here are Scottish but this also applies to girls/females/femme presenting people!!

Recently since clubs etc have opened on Scotland again there had been a rise in drink spiking through use of pills etc so first off please please please be careful and wary at all times of who your drink is exposed to, cover it or hand it to someone trusteorthy if you need the toilet.

But now since men have become aware that we know about their spiking they have resorted to NEEDLES AND INJECTION, it started off in clubs in EDINBURGH but it has now spread up to GLASGOW clubs also. So please stay safe if you are going out, stick in groups of people and if you suspect one of your pals have been spiked, stay with them, let bar/staff know, make sure they get home safe and not with any strangers, call NHS 24 or 999 if their condition deteriorates.

This is absolutly disgusting that this is happening, and even more disgusting that all that can and is being done is people telling us to ”be safe” i know its wrong and we’ll fight that but for now i’ll be posting screenshots of different tips etc on this matter to help you all feel safer when out and how to detect this disgusting thing.

‼️SCOTTISH FOLLOWERS‼️ Also TW Drugs, Spiking Drinks, Injection Marks

I know the quality is shite so this is what it says in the small print

Thursday night Nice N Sleazy/Firewater, spiked by injection.

Hey guys, just wanted to put on here that we think my friend was spiked by injection on Thursday night. We don’t know where it happened but we were at Nice N Sleazy and outside Firewater. Luckily she was with people all night and got home safe but we noticed the mark on her back when we got home and thought it didn’t look too good (picture below). She was also acting more drunk than normal and can’t really remember anything from 12:30 am - 4am. The parts she can remember she couldn’t see anything, so we are 98% sure that she was spiked by injection! We called NHS 24 but they couldn’t really do anything at the time. Just be careful out there and look out for your friends xx

Below are some useful slides on how to detect a spiked drink!

intersex bodies are just as natural and regular as perisex bodies, the only difference is that perisex bodies are more common. being intersex is not a birth defect in the same way being a perisex woman is not a birth defect. nothing broke, nothing is "wrong" with us, we are just less common.

being a perisex woman or a perisex man isn't a medical condition and neither is being intersex. when our intersex conditions cause other health complications it is not because we are intersex, it is because of a medical condition associated with being intersex.

a person with a uterus who has endometriosis isn't experiencing a symptom of having a uterus they are experiencing endometriosis.

intersex bodies are heavily medicalized. they are treated as problems that need to be solved, but being intersex isn't a medical condition. we don't need to be diagnosed and forced through "treatment" to make us as close to perisex as possible, we need support, awareness, and acceptance.

tldr; intersex bodies are just as natural as perisex bodies. intersex existence needs to stop being medicalized

Just a reminder that we aren't gatekeeping Pride.

I know it's only April, but I just saw such a rancid take on Tiktok (and the person blocked me, woo!) That I need to vent somewhere.

The argument went "bi/pan/queer people with cishet partners shouldn't bring those partners into queer spaces/Pride because it makes those spaces unsafe for lgbt folks."

Which is a frankly awful take for many reasons.

First of all "makes a space unsafe" is not an identity. It is a behavior. And ANYONE who is making those spaces unsafe, regardless of their identity, *shouldn't be there.* Whether they are a cishet man or a lesbian, if you are making people unsafe, you shouldn't be there.

Secondly, it's blatantly unenforceable. You can't clock someone's identity at the door. You don't know if they are bi or trans or nonbinary. And no one should have to out themselves to a bouncer.

As a caveat to this, you also don't ever know *why* someone might bring their cishet partner to pride. Whether that's because this is an important part of their life they want to share with their partner, or they are disabled and need help managing their meds or mobility aides, or the partner is a designated driver. You just don't know. So even if you did know they were cishet, maybe they have a "good reason" for being there.

So between it not solving an actual problem to not being enforceable, all this discourse does is create an EXTREMELY hostile environment for, well, bi/pan/queer folks especially. Always. We always get targeted for this kind of stuff.

But also anyone who might worry that *they* aren't queer enough or not look queer enough. Trans folks who haven't socially transitioned, non-binary folks who aren't androgynous enough, ace and aro folks, people who are newly out- they see this rhetoric and think "Oh no. What is someone sees me and thinks I'm cishet? What if someone tells me I can't be there? What if I don't really belong?"

So we aren't doing it. It's shitty snd hostile and biphobic and exclusionary.

Everyone can come to pride.

Except cops.

Fuck cops.

With vanilla extract being a meme, I wanted to share some black history of Edmond Albius a black slave who revolutionized vanilla pollination.

He used a technique he learned of pollinating melons to polinate the orchids to create the vanilla beans. Vanilla was rare and a luxury mainly due to only being able to be pollinated by its natural pollinator in Mexico.

unfortanely, he didnt receive any money for his discovery despite being called the main man who revolutionized pollination, he died in poverty...

Folks, friends, y’all…. esk*mo is a slur. I understand a lot of people don’t know that, I don’t want to be a dick about it, but I’ve been seeing it in fics. Wanna write “esk*mo kisses”? Just say “nuzzled noses” or something.

I’m not here to call anybody out, it’s been in multiple fics, I’m not vague posting. This is just a psa. 👍🏻
