After a year, they become partners again. Image a (slighty) more competent skilled Ben going undercover and fighting crime with Rook. At the end of day, they get smoothies. (If you ship them then start dating later on.)

Ex. Ben threw his foot to kick Rook. Rook quickly blocked with his fore arm.

"That was slow, Ben. Have you been slacking on your training." Rook said as he throw a punch. In which, Ben barely managed to escape.
