most important part of the writing process actually is when you loop a single song on max volume and stare at the word document and imagine the characters doing things for 14 hours. this is known as getting in the zone
As you might've seen or notice. I have finally finished the waking up at NRC prologue part for my children of laughter twst Au! :D
Which I have recently posted a few minutes ago under this post.
I honestly dunno how active I'll be on this blog in the near future, in terms of posting any more content here that is.
I'm just posting here whenever I finish writing anything I want to post like fanfics.
However writing fanfics will require inspiration or motivation to strike me first during my free/spare time.
Intro, part 1
In which Aria is missing and the Heartslabyul duo finds out she has disappeared and looks for her.
It was supposed to be just another night at NRC. Ace and Deuce sleeping in their dorm room with two other freshmen.
Deuce woke up from a nightmare.
One where he failed to be the honor student he strives to be and has disappointed his mom.
He decided to go downstairs and get a drink. Hopefully it isn't against the Queen of Hearts rule to drink water in the middle of the night but considering the other drink and food related rules he vaguely remembered and heard it's possible he might be breaking another rule without realizing it again.
On his way back from the kitchen, still drinking what remains of his glass of water he hears something distressing.
It was a shout from a student in distress they sound panicked.
Did another student get caught by Riddle breaking the rules. No there wasn't any noise after that, and he was sure the shout wasn't Riddle shouting his signature spell.
He walked over to the area he thought the noise came from and knocked on a few doors. He first knocked on Aria's door but got no response.
He knocked on the next door as a disgruntled student swung the door open clearly grumpy from being woken up.
"What is it!?!"
"can't you see were all trying to sleep, what is so damn important to wake us up this late at night!?" Said the Heartslabyul student.
"I heard a shout come from here and thought someone was in trouble, I don't suppose that was you by chance" Deuce mentioned with a nervous voice as he scratched the back of his neck.
"It wasn't me it clearly came from that one-eyed girl, why don't you tell her to keep it down, some of us are trying to sleep" He grumbled before closing the door on Deuce.
Huh that's strange if Aria was the one who shouted, why didn't she answer the door earlier. Maybe she's still half asleep or perhaps she didn't hear him knock.
Deuce goes back to Aria's door and tries knocking again.
No answer
He tries again.
No answer
Deuce finishes drinking the glass of water still in his hand.
'Should I go in?'
"Hey Aria, it's me Deuce may I come in?"
No answer
Maybe she fell back asleep.
Deuce then proceeds to return his glass of water to the kitchen.
Deuce after returning the empty glass realized. When's the last time he heard Aria shout at all? Maybe during the last overblot.
Hm perhaps this was serious.
Deuce walks back to Aria's door and knocks again.
"Aria are you in there?"
No answer.
Deuce sighs.
"I'm coming in please don't punch me. I'm just worried about the shout I heard from ya earlier" Deuce explained.
Still no answer.
Deuce opens the door slowly. Looks like the door was unlocked, did Aria forget to lock it. She was the only girl sorted into Heartslabyul so Riddle gave her a room to herself since it be against the rules for boys and girls to sleep in the same room and had even made sure Aria's door had a lock on it.
Deuce slowly walks into the room and closes the door behind him.
"Aria you there I heard your shout earlier. Is everything alright?" Deuce said quietly with a tinge of fear and doubt in his voice.
"Aria?' he called out once more.
He made it to her desk and turned on the lamp. Looking at the bed it didn't take long to realize she was not here. Her bed looks like a mess.
'What could have happened to Aria between the shouting and now?'
Back in Ace and Deuce's dorm room.
He left the bedroom and tried looking around for any sight of her before returning to his room.
"Ace! Ace wake up! I think something terrible has happened"
Deuce said as he was shaking Ace awake from their bed.
"Ugh wat time is it? what do you mean by something terrible happen are you sure you're not imagining things or overreacting again Deuce"
"It's [insert time between 3am and 7am here], could you please just help me look for her?"
"Ugh... her? which one are you referring to?"
"Aria, I heard her shout something and she's gone. I'm worried she's seriously missing" Deuce
Really Deuce got him up just because Aria made a loud noise that spooked him and can't find her.
Sighs
"what's in it for me?"
"Huh?"
"I'm not gonna help ya look for a wandering student for you without getting something out of it, so again what's in it for me?"
"uh?" Deuce scratched the back of his head.
"I dunno maybe a [insert bribe, favor or chores to do in Ace's stead here]"
"Man. You're really antsy about this, fine I'll do it but only cause you owe me one" Ace replied.
The two proceeded to search all over Heartslabyul dorm with no luck.
Deuce sighs in relief as the two of them leave their bedroom off to search for Aria.
"Man, this is a drag are you sure she's missing it's not like she's been gone for that long right?" Ace whined.
Deuce scratched the back of his head.
"I dunno I really don't think she leave so suddenly after a shout like that, without it being something serious"
"Well whether she's gone serious or not I don't think we will find her around the dorm anytime soon" Ace mentions.
"Yeah, I wonder where she could be? Oh I know what about Ramshackle!"
"Sure, we can check their next as long as you don't mind waking up that Grumpy cat and incurring Yuu's wrath" Ace said.
And thus the one braincell Heartslabyul duo leaves the dorm and heads to Ramshackle.
Master List
Last updated/edited: March 24, 2025
So as I can see I pulled out my light tracer box to redraw my Aria but with her eye patch on this time.
So yeah reposting this since I edited and added my drawing of Aria into this bio. post.
The eye patch is in the design of a white rose being painted red. It's supposed to match and resemble the rose brooches on the Heartslabyul dorm uniforms.
No red paint was used in making of this eypatch tho.
Timeline 3 bio
Name: Aria Whitecourt
Pronouns: She/her
Species: appears human
Appearance: I keep switching from long silver hair and long platinum blonde hair.
She is constantly wearing a eye patch over her right eye (usually medical square patch ones or rose shape/design ones).
For book one it appears she has regular blue human eyes but closer inspection they are colored cosplay contacts hiding their true appearance. She stops wearing them by mid book 3.

Least favorite food: hasn't found one yet
Talents:keeping a cool head in the face of absolute chaos. however wont stop her from mental breakdowns after a 'nightmare' tho.
Other: Aria is loosely based on the white queen and the white rabbit. very loosely tho. She can be a little spacey and loose track of time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aria give Kuudere vibes. They seem cold, quiet, serious, and unapproachable at first but is an absolute sweetheart once u get to know her. She is socially awkward on expressing her emotions and just comes off as cool and indifferent. She shows her love through acts of service. Due to failing at forming friendships in the past so much she leans on Yumi for help a lot regarding socializing and making new friends when they first end up at NRC.
Name: Yuzu
Pronouns: She/her
Species: appears human
Appearance: Very childlike and Androgenous face littered with freckles on her cheeks. Has Acorn brown eyes.
Short blonde hair with a few silver strands of hair on a small portion of her bangs, on her right side. Also, right behind the silver bangs strands a portion of silver hair behind that on the back of her head.
Yuzu is a bit shy at first but once she gets comfortable and warms up to people, she is a curious explorative child. unlike her fellow classmates is a bit more genuinely kind, sweet, and sometimes help without expecting something in return. She is also very gullible and naive. Thankfully she's usually not found on her own. She us usually with at least Grim or Sian there to make sure others don't take advantage of her kind nature. Yuzu also has a playful streak which increases around Ace and/or ortho who encourages it. Yuzu can be a little brat/menace when she wants to.
Man the plot bunny is really at it in after part 1 of the nightmare.
So many interesting directions I could go for events occuring in response to the last paragraph in part 1.
Like what about the person who knock on Aria's door? Who was it? Why were they knocking at her door? What have they heard, if anything?
And then there's Aria.
Where did she end up? What area or situation did Aria teleport herself into?
Is Aria alone or not? Is she stuck at this new location?
So many entertaining ideas. My brain is very entertained with where I ended part 1.
I did have a specific scenario vaguely planned out before I started writing part 1. However I could have that be another night.
I mean who said Aria teleporting away after a nightmare was a one time thing. Obviously I'm not having my poor girl experience nightmares daily, but maybe once every two weeks max, however would like it be once every few months minimum.
I'll figure it out later, probably
For now I'll have fun daydreaming about Aria and the twst Bois for a while.
Maybe even throw a Yumi in the daydreaming as well.
tw - suicide attempt, suggestive paragraph, Prefect is unstable, Sebek is angry
- I had made a more lighthearted version, but decided to change it. - I don't think it is truly x reader, more like x oc, but it is still a prefect and still a part of my series.
It's been raining for three days already.
But today, the weather decided to go all out - a full-blown storm. Trees bent under the howling wind, rain swallowed everything in sight. It was too much for November, you thought. Luckily, you didn't have any outdoor lectures today, and the lightning started right after you reached the main building.
Speaking of lightning...
Now that you think about it, the quarrel was so stupid. You can't even remember what exactly started it. Words flew back and forth, escalating until, somehow, it's been more than two weeks since you and Sebek last spoke.
You know it was your fault. You know you overreacted, said too much, maybe. But you were just so tired, so overwhelmed. So much had been happening, and... you should have chosen your words more carefully. But it's too late now.
Everything is hazy from that day, except for Sebek's voice. It was raw - cracking, even though he was almost shouting, more than usual. You remember the sound of that pain clearly.
And it's all you have now.
Only now, with his booming voice gone from your daily life, you realize how empty it feels around you. Sure, you hear him in the corridors sometimes, calling out to Malleus, or in the cafeteria while you eat.
But none of it is directed at you. Since the day you became... more than friends, you'd claimed his shouts, his "human!" as something reserved just for you. His yelling was yours. His scolding was yours. His huffs were yours. His worried reprimands were yours, and yours alone.
And now, you've ruined it.
Both of you are too proud to apologize first, so you dwell in the silence that stretches between you now. It's not like you don't hear him - it's that you don't feel it anymore. Without him speaking to you, it's as if you've gone deaf. Ace and Deuce have to call your name more than once to drag you out of this limbo, but it doesn't matter. What's the point of listening to the world if you can't hear his voice?
Loud or quiet, harsh or gentle - Sebek's voice always made you feel something. Calm, safe, shattered, mad, confident, soft, light, warm...
When you were sobbing in your ramshackle bedroom, his voice dragged you back to reality. When you were down, surrounded by darkness in your head, his thunderous tone jolted you like lightning, forcing you to pull yourself together. When you hesitated because of past failures, his shouts were the push you needed to act without fear.
Sebek's loud presence took away all fear in your life. Of sounds, of memories, of love, of yourself.
Because of Sebek, you also stopped being afraid of storms. Thunderstorms used to bring back sounds you'd rather forget, but Sebek changed that. Now, you crave the clash of thunder and the flash of lightning because they remind you of him.
The way he speaks, the way he yells, the way he scolds you... his voice is louder than any storm, and it's become your favorite sound.
It echoes in the walls of your mind, crawls under your skin, blankets your thoughts in a haze of rain and static, and resonates all over inside out. When he comes for another scold, going on and on, coming closer and closer, and becoming quieter and quieter - words dropping from a roar to a murmur until all you can hear are the breaths you share in the dark, intertwining until you can't differentiate between your moans and his, merging in a symphony of sounds shared only between you-
"Louder. I can't hear you."
A sudden clash jolts you out of your daze. You blink, realizing you've dozed off on the couch in the Ramshackle lounge, a book - which Sebek lent you - almost falling from your lap. For a split second, you thought you heard him, but it was just thunder. It's raining again.
You sit up, the book slipping from your fingers as you clutch your head.
"Not you. Again." you whisper, not noticing the tears slipping down your cheeks. You stare blankly out the window as the lightning streaks across the sky.
"Still not you. You're brighter. Louder."
Sebek is brighter than any lightning, louder than any thunder. What is this mockery? Like you don't deserve to hear the real thing - your Sebek - just these dim imitations...
"Pathetic human" you imagine Sebek would say. And he'd be right.
You don't want it to be a text, so you record a voice message.
"I love you. I'm sorry."
You can't hear his voice, but at least he can hear yours - one last time.
The storm only gets worse, but you're glad. The noise means no one will notice, not for a while. From where you stand on the roof of NRC, you can see the whole campus spread out like a map below you. A few months ago, Malleus showed you this hidden spot - tucked behind the gargoyles, yet easily accessible - so you could admire them together. You never thought you'd be here now, misusing this knowledge in the worst way.
"What am I doing wrong?" you whisper into the rain.
"Please, shout at me like you always do. Wake me up with your thunderous roar. Call me an insolent human, make me ashamed of myself... like I should be.
Say something....please...I want to hear you...I need to hear you again.
I need to hear your voice.
You are my voice of reason.
You have always been my voice of reason, my sound of hope...
Please. Seb. Please."
Nothing.
Well, then - into the silence you go.
You take a step forw-
Green lightning fills your vision, a deafening roar shakes the world. Your vision goes white, and before you can react, strong arms wrap around you, squeezing so tightly you can't breathe. Everything is a blur, your senses reeling from the storm's chaos and the rage vibrating in his voice.
"I'M TALKING TO YOU! HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?! LOOK AT ME! I SAID LOOK AT ME!"
His voice sounds so close yet so far, you can feel his breath on your skin. You try to reach him with your hand but-
"Sebek..." is all you manage before darkness pulls you under.
You wake in your room at Ramshackle, body trembling with cold. How long had you been standing there, soaked? It doesn't matter. You turn your head, seeing Sebek at your bedside, fury and worry twisting his face.
"Woke up already?" he snaps, voice low and angry. Really angry.
But he's here. He's with you. He's talking to you. It's all that matters.
"Sebek...I'm sorry..."
"YOU BETTER BE!" he thunders, the force of his voice filling the room.
"You'd better have a damn good explanation, or I'll make sure you don't move without my supervision for the rest of your life!" he hisses, quieter but no less angry.
"It was stupid. I'm sorry for making you worry..."
"LIKE YOU SHOULD BE!" he yells again, and you can see it now, the fear beneath the anger. You're such a fool.
"Prepare yourself for a long lecture, you hear me?!" he demands.
Without thinking, you get up and reach for him, pulling him into a tight embrace, face buried against his neck.
"Yes. Yes, I can hear you. And I want to hear that lecture. Please.
I love hearing your voice."
Missing Heartslabyul student panic
Intro/idea
In which Aria is missing from the dorm one night and a fellow Heartslabyul student finds out she has disappeared and panics.
This series is connected to my The Nightmare series. The "Missing Heartslabyul student panic" series is basically a spin off where I entertain the chaos at Heartslabyul that occurs that same night.
If you need further more context/elaboration, hit the read more button and read the rest of this post.
However it will contain spoilers to the end of the nightmare part 1 below.
At the end of the nightmare part 1, Aria had shouted "Let me go!" right before waking up from her nightmare. Very soon afterwards someone knocks on her bedroom door in Heartslabyul. Aria gets startled by the noise and teleports away on instinct to who knows where.
So yeah this is the story from the perspective of whoever knocked at Aria's door at the end of the nightmare part 1.
I will limit the pov of this story to being from a Heartslabyul student. Since they are the only characters who would reasonably be in Heartslabyul dorm late at night on a ordinary day.
