CC creators not wanting conversions

Okay so I'm hearing this is going on lately and I just want to say something about it cause it's ridiculous bullshit. When the sims 4 first came out and there was no cc for it, you know what the first thing sims 4 creators did? They converted cc from the sims 3 over to the sims 4 and a lot of it was Newseasims hairs! Did most of you ask Newseasims if you could convert the hairs over to sims 4 or did you just do it anyway? I bet you just did it anyway. The point is converting items from sims 3, 2, or 4 takes nothing from you, it's still available for whatever game it was created for it and it' still within the sims. This is in the EA Policy, we don't have to ask you for permission to convert, reupload, share, change, remodel etc. so sims 4 creators who keep harassing people about conversions or shared cc need to stop. Unless you own the sims, no one has to ask you permission for anything involving this game and that includes converting/sharing content.

If you want to have full rights to your content, then by all means go over to second life where you have full control over who uploads or shares. I'm 31 years damn old, DO NOT message me about cc being converted, cause your ass is going to get ignored or it's just going to make me convert more of your content out of pettiness. Most of you still don't follow the 2 to 3 week rule for release on your content, I know when half of your shit is from second life or downloaded off some 3d site and put behind paywall. So please don't even bother. You guys take this shit way to seriously and it's annoying. it's a bunch of 1s and 0s and you're freaking out cause someone converted some pants over to sims 3..get real. Anyway the one thing I will still continue to do is give credit and never place behind a paywall...that's it. That's all you're getting from me..anyway good talk. So guys keep sharing and converting if that's what you want to do, don't let people bully you over a game.

There is a Sims 2 cc piano that is far superior to any of the Maxis pianos in 2 or 3. Would you be tempted to take a look and see if it can be converted for Sims 3?

Hi! Not Anon that first asked, but I’ve been having the same issue with the Anto Amaya hair. It is an issue specific to this conversion. Honestly, it’s a really sneaky bug if you aren’t actively using the hair on the sim. The horizontal line only appears when the sim is rotated at certiain angles. Specifically, when the sim is turned to the right or to the back in CAS mode, the line becomes visible. Same thing in Live mode.

I’m not trying to push you to investigate further if you don’t want to, but I wanted to make you aware there are multiple people experiencing this bug.

Oh I had no idea! Yeah I'm not sure how to fix this cause all I'm doing is editing the files in photoshop for the retextures, I'm actually not messing with the hair itself besides that.. if you have any tips for me to fix it I recommend you sending an ask so that I can post it and let other people know how to fix it as well as myself!

I made an ask about the anto amaya hair and didn’t make it clear that it was your retexure that was causing me issues.

I have a picture but It says that I can’t add media to your asks and can’t message you so I’m unsure what to do.

most of the time i just use other people's toenail polish and it works fine with the feet! so even if they aren't painted it should work!

I just recently downloaded some hairs from you and I appreciate the effort you put in to make low-poly hairs that allow the game to be playable.

Unfortunately for me, I’ve experienced some issues with the Anto Amaya hair. When I use it, there’s line that shoots vertically upwards from the hair and across most of the screen.

I’ve downloaded other hairs from you and they all work perfectly ; I’m not sure what can be done to fix this so I thought I would ask because it’s my favourite cc hair that I’ve downloaded .

Does it happen with the original hair? because I do retextures and most of the time it could be an issue with someone else who converted the hair so I would ask there instead of here, unless you're having problems with the hair conversions i made myself.. which mine doesn't have that problem from what I can see

I added a bunch of swatches to this one and it looks kinda weird in CAS but perfectly fine in live mode. Also one more thing is that there is a hole under one of the arms that appeared as soon as I lowered the polycount of the sweater dress thing. Decided to redo these cause I got a lot of positive comments from ts3creatorscave discord! That and they look very nice to me too! •Added most of the swatches from the originals! This is probably the best top I've converted in my opinion, only problem that I can find with this is if you look too closely the texture of the clothes is somewhat on the skin but other than that I think it's fine! This is also the version of the top that isn't a bodysuit.

Hello! I just wanted to say about issue I found with Angelina hair, i checked in tsrw before installing, its 8 k poly on lod0, but still 35k on lod1 :(

Sorry i'll fix it I had no idea the lods were still like that (I assumed something wasn't right whenever I saw 2 geoms at the top for majority of the hairs so I will fix those as well) Edit: FIXED BOTH HAIRS THANK YOU FOR ASKING
