I have a challenge for you: try drawing Amanda in her 3D model style!
Listening to Play My Way for like the millionth time
This song has its CLAWS in me
Opposite for me, I absolutely LOVE horror that goes above and beyond. I think the only thing that kinda scarred me was the stalker from Lacey’s Wardrobe. Anyway, Lacey Games mentioned in your tags??? That series is so good!!!
I feel like one of these days, people are going to realize I am not and have never been a horror person.
I like two horror things and they aren't even that scary.
The minute I stepped foot into actual horror I hated it. I hated how overwhelming it was.
I like things that unsettle me... I like the uncanny, I like the vibes of an abandoned amusement park, sending chills up your spine, but I don't like being scared. Do you know how hard it is to tread that fine line these days? The fine line of liking horror-adjacent things like abandoned places, abandoned children's media, liminal spaces, the supernatural, etc, and not finding something that actually makes me feel like I'm in hell.
I’m cooking 🧑🍳
Thank you so much!!
Amanda the Adventurer 2 art dump!!! I love this game to BITS!!!! Will make angst soon heheheheh
“Im a big girl who doesn’t need a nightlight.” That line stabbed me in the heart.
Does she repeat that to herself every night???
Give this poor girl a goddamn hug 😭😭😭😭
Lil sneak peek for a comic I’m making!! 🍎🐑
That feeling when you draw and/ or write angst of a character you really like
what are your thoughts on Joanne as a Character along with Kate! They don’t get talked about enough :(
I LOVE the way they write Joanne in ATA 2! Although, it’s pretty unfortunate how they killed her off so quickly and we didn’t get much of her in the game in my opinion.
The idea of her wanting to get her brother Jordan back is already a cool idea for her character, but the way they build upon that is VERY interesting. She admitted that she took advantage of Riley’s trust to find the tapes in hopes of freeing Jordan, and even if that seems very selfish of her, that’s also very human of her. Imagine this: you’re desperate to free your brother from the hellish world he’s been trapped in that you’ll do whatever it takes to be with him again, even if it means taking advantage of others. I like how she admits her selfishness, too.
I also love how she was so desperate to free her brother that she instantly took advice from someone she didn’t even know on how to free him, only to realize that it was someone from the same company that took your brother hostage. It just makes her character all the more tragic.
As for Kate, there’s not much I can say for her, since we don’t really get a lot of her. For example, in the first game, she was just used as a reason as to why the game’s main story is even happening. But in the second game, they build up on her character more.
The context we get from her investigating the tape shows how determined she is to bring Hameln down and set Rebecca and the other kids free. If she was THIS determined to try to set Rebecca free for more that 15 YEARS, that has to mean that her and Rebecca must have been very close. Kate might’ve been like a mother figure to Rebecca.
And don’t get me STARTED on the cassette tape. All of that determination and confidence that we’ve seen from her throughout the game is replaced with pure hopelessness and despair. She’s completely lost hope in freeing Rebecca and defeating Hameln. It’s so sad seeing a person who wanted to free a kids soul who she knew free completely give up and fall into despair.
Anyway, that’s all I got. Thanks for asking!!
A little screenshot redraw with of course by girl cyn!! I didn't feel like rendering :/
