I have a question for the Amanda fandom

If you were in the universe that ATA takes place in and you found the tapes that YOU KNOW ARE HAUNTED, would you watch them and discover it’s secrets (basically become Riley Park and do what they do)?

what's your opinion on all of the medical horror related stuff in ata? because I LOVE IT. As someone who's been through a lot of icky hospital-related things, they HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD!! I really need to get around to writing a fic soon...

I LOVE IT! The medical horror in this series adds to the vibe of the whole story and the traumatizing things Rebecca went through to become Amanda and when you add it to the meat imagery, it becomes so disgusting in such a good way.

I’m trying to explain it in the best way I can but it’s kinda falling apart, sorry 😅

Have you heard of the upcoming "Pinata Puppy World" game? I'm kind of hyped for that.

I’ve heard of Piñata Puppy World and to be honest, I don’t really care for it, just not for me (that’s rich coming from me cuz I like PPT).

Besides from Madoka Magica, I really like Dungeon Meshi! The way they get creative with using monsters as food is really interesting and they always look delicious. The characters are really likable and compelling and it just feels like you’re having a fun time! I highly recommend it if you’re into stuff like DND or fantasy stories!

I don’t read manga a lot, but the ones I DO have are the first Madoka Magica manga, the Different Story manga and the first Sailor Moon manga. I haven’t really collected any more mangas since then😅

Yeeeaaahhh, the whole “Hameln being a cult thing” is pretty generic and was probably added to explain why the Amanda demon exists.

I personally don’t think it’s Rebecca, but if it was, they could make it look a bit like her. I mean, for a while, I thought it might be Rebecca’s corpse, but that also doesn’t sound right.

And yeah, the monster’s design is VERY basic. I mean come on- lanky, tall monster with sharp teeth? However, I do like the multiple eyes! Maybe they could’ve used curled horns to resemble Amanda’s hair? And if it IS Rebecca’s corpse, maybe have it look like it’s rotting, give it her hairstyle (but messier and thinner hair) and some human-like features.

Maybe controversial ATA opinion??

Gonna be so fr, I don't really like the monster version of Amanda much! Y'know, this one:

To me it just. complicates the story. It might be my own lack of understanding, feel free to try and explain it to me in reblogs or comments or whatever but I don't get it?? It's Rebecca. but it also. isn't. Rebecca? spoilers of course, but in the secret tape in ATA 2, in which you see Rebecca in the hospital bed, I took that as recently-taken footage?? Like, as proof that what Amanda said about being "Out there... Somewhere." is true. Like. Proof that Rebecca's physically out there, and can be saved- But if the monster isn't Rebecca, then what is it???? Genuinely confuses and perplexes me. Also the design just isn't scary and reads more as "trying too hard" to me, but that's not lore

Does anyone know about the Hamfan ARG? I have some theories about it

In the last blog on the website, Hamfan says that they have a friend who wants them to bring over their Amanda tapes and stuff for an “Amanda museum” and that got me thinking…

Could this be a hint to what Amanda 3’s setting might be?

More ATA headcanons!!

- Amanda and Wooly used to wear friendship bracelets, but after their falling out, neither of them ever wore them.

- Amanda sometimes barely has the energy to get out of bed, so Wooly has to drag her out of bed

- Wooly shears his wool in late spring- summer

- Wooly used to take care of his wool everyday, but now he just leaves it alone and now it’s tangled, rough and dirty

- Amanda has suicidal thoughts once in a while (but then questions herself as to why she’s feeling this way)

- Amanda and Wooly can hear things while the tape is paused (this might be canon)

- Wooly has a diary that was used a LONG time ago but is now in his drawer in his room collecting dust

- Amanda sometimes throws things and destroys things when she’s too mad

- Amanda barely combs her hair so it’s always messy

- Neither of them know what self care is

- Amanda draws on the walls sometimes

- Wooly has a tooth gap

- Amanda can’t remember Sam’s face or voice clearly
