My mother read me a thing from Mark Lowry, and in it it talks about how God spoke the world in to being, but with man, he actually “got His hands dirty” and breathed life into him, and the way he described it was that the “breathing life” was a kiss. Now when I thought of it, I always imagined God breathing life like one would blow out birthday candles. But I never imagined the act of creating life to be so intimate, more akin to resuscitation than to detached dust blowing. Is that what actually happened? Idk, I’ll probably know after I die, but it just makes so much more sense to me than my previous interpretation, and it makes me happy.
