Sometimes it’s hard to understand, sometimes, neither of them understand what's happening and it's quite frustrating, mostly for Hannibal. How can he love someone like him ? How can this feeling even be possible ? How can it be that strong ? Will is everything he hates, everything that disgust him ; a man, so simple, so in the crowd. A man like Will could never have attracted him. And, yet, it happened. Suddenly, Will is all he wanted, all he ever wanted.Will in his house, Will in his kitchen, Will in his bedroom, Will in his bed… Will between his sheets, Will against him. It’s as if that man had bewitched the great Dr Lecter, with ropes and candles. The heart of Hannibal is tied, broken, he is too many things to survive without Will nearest him. Hannibal wanted Will to scream in his sheets, to tell him how he loved him, how he wanted him. He wanted to feel the body of Will bursting beside him, to taste his tears, to meet everything on his body. He wanted the body of Will just for him. He wanted Will to belong to him.

And he wanted him to know…

My favourite thing about Éowyn and Faramir is that when Éowyn tells Faramir she’s in love with Aragorn, his response is basically “well duh, who isn’t.” He truly gets Éowyn, not only because he has similar experiences with despair and grief, but also because the two of them feel the exact same way about Aragorn.

Strictly, canonically speaking, Faramir isn’t in love with Aragorn, but his old-school Medieval fealty has the level of passion and intensity that a modern reader tends to associate with romantic love. (Though of course he isn’t an outlier in a series about passionate friendship and fealty.) The first time Faramir ever saw Aragorn, in the Houses of Healing, “a light of knowledge and love was kindled in his eyes” and he immediately volunteered to do anything his king asked of him, even though he had just woken up from life-threatening illness and probably didn’t have the strength to get out of bed under his own power. And what he offers to Éowyn, among other things, is this: you can continue to love Aragorn as your king and captain, we can both love him that way, and love each other with a quieter peacetime love.

More Dwobbit Frodo! This time it’s baby Frodo with his adad! I was given on discord the idea dwarves wearing baby wraps to carry their babies with them and I loved it so much I just knew I had to draw Thorin carrying Frodo in one. In the first one Frodos maybe 1 years old? His crazy amount of hair is explained by his dwarven genes lmfaoo. In the second one he’s maybe a few months old. Anyway- I love the trope of a tough guy with a small babe, that’s literally them.
