In L'équilibre, They love each other so much that they are unable to live without each other, they are unable to imagine each other without each other, but love is so worn out, so exploited that to stay with the other would be to destroy oneself little by little. And that is what they do, because despite everything, they are incapable of separating.

And the paradox is so beautiful and so destroying at the same time.
