Walk Cycle SPEED RUN¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh no the brain rot.
I'm not going to make it out of this one
Hopefully this will turn into an Icicle AMV when I'm done but I have no idea when I'll run out of energy here.
Almost didn't post this as it's just a WIP, but I'm not sure if I'll actually finish this and I like the body segments.
IceWings have a different body shape compared to NightWings. Hard
1) I've come to the conclusion that fauns and satyrs are basically the same creature, with slight differences in terms of their animal-human ratio, as well as their mythological origins. That said, my question is... is there a specific name for the female of the species?
2) Regarding centaurs: As far as I know, the "centaur" is the name given to a creature that is half-man and half-horse. However, I've seen variations where the animal species varies, for example, lions, deer, dogs, etc. Most of the time, I see that the suffix "taur" is simply added after the animal species to refer to this creature... is this correct? I mean, is this how they are described? Or is there a general name to refer to these types of creatures?
3) This is similar to the first one and is a comparison between sphinxes and manticores... at a detailed level I know they are different but in general terms... are they the same but with different genders? I have seen many sphinx arts and despite the fact that they are different, most are female, while in the case of manticores there is variety between the animal species involved in the design and in the same way they are almost always male, equally between both (sphinxes and manticores) there are similarities. So my question is, are they technically the same? or not?
If you know anything about the subject and can share it with me here, I'd be so grateful. I'm tired of trying to draw characters and wondering what they really are or how to find references, so any help is appreciated.
[If I mentioned or mentioned any fatal errors, I apologize profusely. My interest in creatures is just resurfacing after years of burying it under the bed... that's why I'm here to learn a little more :'3]
This is a Nightwing/Icewing hybrid named Orca. He has a brother named Narwhal and a sister named Penguin. This is a personal OC of mine!
What’s your favorite tribe? 👁️ I can never pick one. It’s different every week lol.
Uhhhhjj should I try to get into art fight this year? Finals r coming up and I don't want to. But I want to... Ahhhhhhh
Been making a few too many head shots. Thought I'd share a fully body render.
Not a character, just some more practice with colors.
Not sure if I've said it before but the thing I struggle with most when it comes to art is the color palette. I just don't have enough practice with it.
Princess Orca of the SeaWings, having grown tired of Mother, Whirlpool, and the stress of being heir to the throne, formulates a plan to escape:
An enchanted mirage, appearing and acting exactly like the real Princess, programmed to challenge Queen Coral for the throne- and make a spectacle out of it. A spell on Coral's narwhal spear, guaranteed to "kill" the Doppelganger in a challenge.
Orca fled and assumed a new, (enchanted?) identity somewhere else. To this day she has no idea how far her clone took its goals, or that her appearance and personality wasn't the only thing the husk of her's got.
Lil guy I made. Been experimenting with icewing designs since the head spines are so difficult. Always trying to make them easier to animate and such.
Don't have a story for this guy, just some good practice. Unfortunately he looks kind of like Rick from Rick and Morty.njust the color scheme.
Man I need a project to work on that requires dragon armor.
*ignores my older abandoned animation memes*
revamp of some old Nightwing armor designs for my enchanted wof AU
Shapes!!

I like Wings of Fire and Cult of The Lamb. I like to animate and I'm still struggling to find my own art style
