๐Happy Saturday Rainbow Readers! We have another list to share with you this weekend. This time celebrating found family! Found family is one of our favorite tropes and is something the queer community is built on. We love the feelings of love, care and belonging this trope brings to stories.
Did we miss any? Let us know the title and author in the comments! Authors please feel free to self-promote your queer found family books in the comments!
Should we make more trope lists like this? What tropes would you like to see in the future?ย
Books listed above their respective graphic.
๐ท: Thank you to @/Starlight_And_Fairytails_ for the photo of our Andrew & Neil magnet from The Foxhole Court by Nora Sakavic!
ID: A post of six slides. Slide 1: The background is a photo of a magnet of Andrew & Neil, two white boys kissing in orange exy uniforms. The magnet leans against the paperback of The Kingโs Men and stands on the other two books. A wooden palmetto postcard leans against the books to the right. Over the photo is a large slightly translucent orange circle. In the circle it says "20 queer books with the found family trope". Slides 2-6: The background is the intersex inclusive pride progress flag. Atop it is an opaque white square with a thin white outline. Over the square are four book covers in a 2 x 2. At the top of each slide is a title. Respectively they say: "Adult SFF", "Adult Romance", "YA SFF", "YA Contemporary", and "Miscellaneous". End ID.

We often feel that continuously striving without caring for our own well-being is productivity. But that's not true. When we neglect to give our minds the rest they deserve, we may experience increased stress, fatigue, and difficulty in concentrating.
By prioritizing self-care and taking out time for relaxation, we create a foundation of balance and well-being. It's not about being idle and lazy it's about finding the right rhythm between work and rest, productivity and self-care. ๐โจ
Whether it's reading a book, going for a walk in nature, or simply taking a few moments to sit in stillness, these acts of self-care allow our minds to unwind, recharge, and gain fresh perspective. ๐๐ซ
So, let's make a conscious effort to unplug, unwind, and recharge our minds. Remember, taking care of your mental well-being is essential for your overall productivity and happiness. ๐โจโฃโฃโฃ.
Share in the comments one activity or practice that helps you recharge your mind. Happy mind recharge! ๐๐
