dear authors, if a character has dark ANYTHING, why does it have to be likened to food ๐
forgive me for all the things I did,
but mostly for the ones I did not
seeing a poc author embrace their identity is so satisfying.
normal kdramas have that scene where the guy saves the girl and then she catches feelings, but not gaus. no, instead, na rae realised she started to like sang sik after he covered up her fart w his and took the blame
Sophie literally said "trust the process" when Dovey gasped at her old hag appearance
suki is so cute with her tendency to act like shes the chef and goes behind the counter and when he barks at lorelai to keep her behind a leash if she brings her while she obediently slinks back to her place with the rest of the customers
โHow is it that we as Muslims - who claim to be upon the Sunnah, are content with raising our families in the lands of corruption, open disobedience of Allah, the lands of Kuffr and Shirk?
How do we as Muslims feel safe in our Emaan living and raising a family in these places?
Do we delude ourselves thinking weโll be safe from the fitnah that comes with these lands?
A place where women and men mix freely, donโt cover appropriately, some walking around half naked on the streets, you canโt even go to get your basic groceries without the music corrupting your hearts, a place where Muslim people have entirely left off the Salah.
Zina, alcohol, lying, and gambling are in abundance on the streets, and the people donโt fear Allah. A place you must look to the floor even when walking to the Maasjid Of Allah out of fear of the Haraam one may seeโฆ this is a place that is safe for you?
Do we think our children will just grow up to be righteous slaves of Allah while they are being surrounded by Evil and the Disobedience of Allah?
That you will be able to save them from the Haraam and the Doubts about Allah that the schools plant in their young impressionable minds?
When we look in our heart sincerely, no matter what material comforts one may have, youโll find that the west is from the MOST *dangerous* of places for both you and your families to reside in.
May Allah protect us and our families and allow us to live and remain in the Lands of the Muslims.โ
