#9 "You ignored me" with Bay Leo (angst/comfort/confession)

The air was so thick you were sure you would choke on it.

Mikey was spinning his nunchakus nearby. But whether he was doing it completely outside his awareness or to distract himself from his nerves was unclear. Raph was standing so still next to you it was downright unnerving. Arms crossed firmly across his chest; his glare so intense it could have melted a hole in Leo's face. Daring the blue banded ninja to so much as try taking a step towards you. Even Donnie appeared to be on edge, repeatedly casting quick glances over his shoulder at his eldest sibling between removing shards of glass and pebbles out of your arm.

All the while you sat there, twiddling your thumbs in your lap. Unphased by the sting of the road-rash anymore. The only real thought on your mind, how very unable you were to look Leo in the eye right now. Your chin tipped low, turned away almost to the point of making your neck cramp.

Leo, meanwhile, was seething. He was pacing like a caged animal behind Donnie's chair. Those piercing blue eyes of his locked onto you. Uncomfortably so.

It wasn't fear you felt in this moment though. No, in truth, it was shame. What you'd done was foolish. Downright stupid actually. Not to mention exactly the opposite of what you'd been told to do. So, you didn't blame him for his anger. Or his disappointment.

You knew better.

Donnie sprayed down your arm with antiseptic spray. Carefully wrapping the raw skin, he instructed you on care for the injury. Then he fell silent and looked at you a long moment with sympathy softening his eye. Maybe he was trying to convey that everything would be okay without saying the words. Maybe he was trying to stall to blunt the verbal lashing you were about to receive.

It didn't matter though. There was nothing any of them could do to stop what was coming. But maybe they'd hoped to delay the matter.

"Out." There it was. Leo's command laced with a snarl. "(Y/N) and I need to have a discussion."

Donnie's hand raised to your knee. He offered it a gentle squeeze. But he couldn't manage the smile he wanted to add with it.

"That's an order." Leo's voice was uncharacteristically deep.

This was going to go poorly.

With a deep breath, Donnie hesitated only a moment more before rising to his feet and ushering Mikey out of the med bay. Raph, however, refused to budge. Arms now dropped to his sides, digits curled in tense fists, he continued to glare down Leo.

You couldn't hear the rumble deep in his chest, but you could feel it vibrating through the floor. Carefully you reached out. Gingerly your fingertips stroked along the edge of his knuckle. The action rewarded you with Raph turning his gaze to you from the corner of his eye. "Hey," you softly offered, "It's okay. Go on." You ventured to give the edge of his fist a reassuring squeeze. "No sense in both of us swimming in hot water."

It took him a minute. But he finally relented, leaving you with a nod, and a growl directed at his brother.

A brief silence engulfed you as Leo waited to be sure the others had gone. You braced yourself. Knowing full well what came next.

"You ignored me." Leo's voice was low. So low it made the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. "You blatantly ignored what I told you."

"Leo," the words you wanted to say resisted coming free in your dry throat. "I know that I -,"

"I know you know! How many times have I told you over and over?! YOU DO NOT GET INVOLVED!" Leo roared. "Yet that doesn't appear to mean a damn thing to you since you just so willingly ignored everything I've told you! What the hell were you thinking, (Y/N)?! Tailing after thugs like that! Do you have any idea just how badly that could have gone!" he continued to bellow.

Tears were pooling on your lashes. Yet you refused to let them fall. Everything he said was true. He had told you. Almost every day. Do not get involved. It's dangerous. It's his job. Not yours. You had just wanted to help though. Did following behind a couple of thugs you overheard bragging about how much bank they were going to make selling a vial of synthetic mutagen really count as "getting involved?" The plan was just to find out where they were headed and relay the info to the brothers. Really, it was.

Perhaps your eagerness at "helping" got the better of you though. You obviously failed at being discrete. Since you were fortunate enough to escape nearly being run over with only a bit of road rash to show for your stupidity.

"Leo," you tried again. "I know. But I was only -,"

"You know! You know! But do you know, (Y/N)?" The leader in blue took quick, decisive strides toward you. "Do you know just how lucky you are they only decided to run your bike off the road? Do you know just how bad it could have been? How badly they could've hurt you? Or worse! Do you know -,"

A jolt of shock crashed over you as Leo unexpectedly wrapped you up in a shaky embrace. His beak pressing hard into the top of your head. " - just how badly you scared me?" his hushed voice broke past a sob. "I was so scared I was going to lose you, (Y/N). That I wouldn't get to you in time."

Reaching up to steady his trembling only made him squeeze you tighter.

"I only wanted to help, Leo."

The terrapin unwrapped his arms from around your form to cup your face in his hands. He rested his forehead against yours as the blue of his mask deepened from collecting tears as they fell from his eyes. "You mean so much to me, (Y/N). So very, very much. When I tell you not to get involved it's because I don't want you getting hurt. I don't want you to be in any danger. Not because I don't want your help. I - I don't know what I'd do if - if anything happened to you."

Hands still holding gently to your face Leo leaned in to press a sure and knowing kiss to your lips. Hoping, no praying, that the sincerity of his words and the strength of his devotion to you bled through.

You returned his kiss with one of your own. Hoping yourself it communicated you understood.

"I love you, (Y/N). Please, please promise me you'll never do anything that reckless again."

You nodded against his lips. Sealing your promise by pressing into him again.

And as he wrapped you up within his protective, strong arms once more you promised yourself you'd never ignore anything Leo told you from here on out.

Transformers robots in disguise 2015 grimlock

Sober, no shots, none. This bot is an absolute joy to have on screen. One of the most wholesome tv characters I’ve ever seen. Defiantly one of my favourites out of the autobots.

He is very affectionate, and he probably gives great hugs when he’s aware of his own strength. The worst that can happen is that he accidentally knocks something over or he nearly crushes me in a hug (and I might let him).

he makes you little trinkets that will hold value in your day-to-day life; like that coffee maker that brews your coffee just the way you like it,

or that subtle purple bracelet that can display a holographic of your daily statistics (your step count, reminders for your day)

it's the way he will forcefully drag himself from his beloved projects in order to spend time with you, as meaningless as it all seems - because he's with you, and that does mean something to him.

it's the way he has no idea what you're talking about, only half-heartedly humming whenever you ask him a question, solely focused on the way you animatedly talk - completely love drunk.

it's the way his guard is lowered in your presence, apparent from the rumbling churr emanating from where he's sitting at his work station - content completely to be in your vicinity, and not daring to break the serenity of the environment to ask for more.

it's the way he forgot how nice it felt to have someone caress soothing circles into his soft shell, becoming complete putty in your hands and melting on the spot - eyes shut, and slightly drooling from the way his body just... relaxes, loses any and all tension.

it's the way you're his first waking thought, and also his last waking memory before sleep takes him.

So one thing that’s been living rent-free in my head since I watched the episode „The ancient art of ninja hide and seek“ is this weird hotel room where the brothers have their final showdown of the episode, you know just showing off their newly acquired skills

You know this one.

And it just could have been that the creators thought „hey, let’s just use a random hotel room for this scene“ but the thing that’s been bugging me is that this doesn’t look like a randomly chosen room at all

It doesn’t even look like a regular hotel room

It is hidden behind a secret door and the turtles only get there by pure accident and as we can see in the background that other rooms have regular doors. Heck, this room is so well hidden that even Splinter can’t find the entrance even though he was standing right in front of it.

Another thing is how the room is furnished. It is very blatant that this room isn’t meant for guests to stay in. The entire room has been personalized, there are posters on the wall, we have a car bed and a surfboard, there are vinyl records scattered across the floor and the bed isn’t made. Overall it looks very much lived in.

What I noticed, that was also kind of weird is how accessible the rest of the hotel seems to be from this room as seen with how out of every corner Big Mama‘s goons pop out of more hidden doorways.

The only use I could see in this room is if it was the room of one of the employees because that seems like the only logical answer for this kind of room since who else would need this level of accessibility.

But there is still one more thing. In this episode all of the employees we see on screen are adults and I don’t think it’s the room of any of the goons we see in this episode. Why? Well because this room looks like it belongs to a teenager. The posters, the general messiness and choice in furnishings all don’t give off the vibe of the inhabitant being an adult and look more like how a teenager would decorate and upkeep their room.

My personal headcannon (and explanation) for this room is that this is the room of Big Mama‘s Assistant, you know the person who’s been confirmed to be the turtles missing sister. It would make sense for this to be her room since she’s the only character I can think of that would fit all of the criterias for this room, since A she is employed by Big Mama and it would make sense to keep her room as such separated from the guests rooms but still central to get around the hotel quickly. And B she would be the turtles age, between early and mid- teens, at this point in the story. If this is the case and the room is in fact belonging to the sister (Frida) it would also serve as a nice foreshadowing if the turtles kind of indirectly interacted with their sister before actually meeting her

You: “Jungleberry Cookie, I have arrived.”

Jungleberry Cookie: “There you are, Y/N Cookie. The princess contest was just about to begin.”

You: “No need, I can tell which kind of princess I want to whisk away to my castle just by looking into their eyes…”

You turn around to look along the princesses that had gathered for the contest, observing them to see which would be a wonderful princess to take out on a date.

You: “I have chosen~”

Princess Cookie: “Haven’t you get that I’m not looking for a-“

You: “You! Choco Werehound Princess!”

Choco Werehound Princess: “Ah! R-Really?!”

You: “Yes, my dear. I can see that beneath the cloud of darkness, hides a gem that a waiting to shine with all its might! Would you like to come along with me?”

Choco Werehound Princess: “Oh my goodness! I’d never thought you’d asked, ehehe!”

Princess Cookie sulked in the corner the whole party, her pride crushed.

Personally, I would NOT struggle against Synth-Energon Ratchet- I want to be stuck to that bot like a koala to a tree.

Am I saying I would make his behavior worse? Yes, I am- cause being constantly pampered on by your version of Ratchet is already a dream come true, but now it’s your Ratchet on SYNTH ENERGON?? Sign me up.

you are so REAL for that, synth-en!ratchet has me barking every time I think about him lmao (which means every day)

And honestly, you either not paying attention to his behavior or even encouraging him to focus on you more fits Ratchet on acid perfectly. It’s literally like you were made for each other, which is something the gilf medic will say very often — especially when he pulls some freaky stunt, and you cheer him on. He’ll act even more like a young god when he throws some freaky line your way, and you respond with something just as unhinged, if not more.

Imagine him getting into a fight solely to impress you, and you acting like his personal cheerleader, shouting his name and hyping him up to kick that bot’s aft. With that kind of support, Ratchet would solo Unicron, lmao.

The only problem is that the rest of the team will get sick of you two very quickly and, for the sake of peace and quiet, will try to separate you. Of course, this will backfire spectacularly because synth-en!Ratchet will absolutely lose his mind if he doesn’t have you constantly by his side.
